BamaJeepsterAnother view of election night

Gitmo prisoners reacted like US media personalities!
http://freebeacon.com/national...world-tranquilizers/Gitmo Prisoners ‘Thought It Was the End of the World’ on Election Night, Asked for TranquilizersPrisoners at the Guantanamo Bay military prison in Cuba “thought it was the end of the world” the night of the presidential election and asked their guards for tranquilizers and sleeping pills, CBS correspondent Margaret Brennan reported Thursday.
David Remes, the lawyer of one of the prisoners at Guantanamo, recounted to Brennan what his client told him about election night.
“He said that many detainees thought that it was the end of the world and felt terrible and that many detainees asked for tranquilizers, sleeping pills because they were so distraught,” Remes said.
Remes said he is afraid that once Donald Trump officially becomes president, the doors will “slam shut” and remaining detainees will not be able to be released.
President Obama has released several prisoners from the detention facility in the waning days of his administration.
“Well, the pace of prisoner releases has picked up in recent months,” Brennan said. “But Donald Trump’s campaign pledge to stop this prison from closing has left the fate of many prisoners in limbo.”

LeemurSaw a hilarious bedwetting article about the Mattis pick in the local paper. "Sets a dangerous precedent for a position meant to keep control of the military in civilian control." Yeah, that's why he's retired and answers to the president. Pesky facts....

sdyanother lesson from the DEMs.
If you are Philadelphia assistant city solicitor, it is okay to walk around spray painting "F--- Trump" on store fronts.
https://youtu.be/wZwz9JRmUg0http://www.philly.com/philly/n...Trump_vandalism.htmlDuncan Lloyd, an assistant city solicitor, was identified in surveillance footage that captured Lloyd and a second man walking along Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hill on Nov 25. In the footage, Lloyd is seen wearing a blue blazer and holding a glass of wine, filming or taking photos, while a second man spray paints "F--- Trump," on the wall of a newly opened Fresh Grocer.
As of Thursday morning, police said no arrests have been made in the incident and Kenney said Lloyd remains employed with the city.
First Deputy City Solicitor Craig Straw confirmed on Wednesday that Lloyd, who has worked for the Law Department since 2011, is one of two men in the video.
"We do not condone this type of behavior from our employees," Straw said. "To my knowledge, Mr. Lloyd has already contacted the Philadelphia police and is cooperating with them. We will decide on a course of action once we obtain more information about the investigation."
Police released a video which shows Lloyd, wine glass in hand, holding up his cellphone as the second man, described as 20 to 30 years old, 6 feet tall, medium build, and wearing a blue hooded jacket, spray-paints the wall.
Police have estimated the damage at between $3,000 and $10,000.

I know this never occured to liberals, but maybe instead of having a bunch of lawyers running the the departments & alphabet agencies, if we had a military person as Sec of Defense, an actual teacher in charge of Dept of Education, a real farmer in charge of Dept of Agriculture, etc.; those agencies may work a little better at doing what they're supposed to do.

lkdr1989I liked this part of the article
quote:
The city's Republican Party wasted no time in calling for Lloyd's dismissal.
"If the image of an upper-middle-class city attorney clad in a blazer and sipping wine while vandalizing an upscale grocery store with an anti-Trump message strikes you as perhaps the most bourgeois sight imaginable, that's because it is," said Joe DeFelice, chairman of the Philadelphia Republican Party.
"Did the extra glass of Shiraz give him some sort of delusional confidence that there are no cameras on Germantown Avenue? The taxpayers should be entrusting exactly none of our faith into this man. He should be fired from our city's Law Department immediately."

Yeah, if they could have won by releasing Cthulu, they would have done it.
Of course, they are just continuing a flawed, false, and dishonest premise - that Trump won by campaigning on racism and misogyny.
