Donald Trump is a first-rate ass clown, but...
Obama says Clinton lost because of sites like SIGforum

http://www.breitbart.com/2016-...ts-mainstream-media/

What frustrated Obama and his staff [in the 2016 campaign] was the knowledge that, in large measure, they were reaching their own people but no further.

They spoke to the networks and the major cable outlets, the major papers and the mainstream Web sites, and, in an attempt to find people “where they are,”

But they would never reach the collective readerships of Breitbart News, the Drudge Report, WND, Newsmax, InfoWars, and lesser-knowns like Western Journalism—not to mention the closed loop of peer-to-peer right-wing rumor-mongering.

so we are not only "deplorable" but we are also "the closed loop of peer-to-peer right-wing rumor-mongering". explains why people have been yelling at me "you CLPPRWRM !"

Obama also explained this is why we don't understand climate change:

"That marked a decisive change from previous political eras, [Obama] maintained. “Ideally, in a democracy, everybody would agree that climate change is the consequence of man-made behavior, because that’s what ninety-nine per cent of scientists tell us,” he said. “And then we would have a debate about how to fix it. "

"previous political eras": back when MSM was unchallenged to feed everyone a pack of lies

Obama: “I have complete confidence in the American people—that if I can have a conversation with them they’ll choose what’s right."

Well Barack, we heard enough of you, and we definitely chose what's right. Your confidence was justified.

No, Barack, that is what happens in a totalitarian society. In a democracy, we have open debate and people are free to offer dissent.

Oops, he just blurted out his fascist desires again.

They remain clueless. Of course the MSM reaches us, we are inundated with it w/o even trying to seek it out. We simply reject it for the propaganda and lies that it has objectively proven to be. When the NYT says they will be honest now, then 2 days later is back at the same old lies and propaganda, then no, we will not be listening to it for our source of political information.

The MSM should make an actual honest attempt at objectivity, then watch what it does to the ratings.

I'll hazard a guess the hair and makeup sessions she used to get add up to around several thousand a pop. I wonder if her current willingness to display what she really looks like is an indication of depths of her depression, or an attempt to garner sympathy. Maybe she has checked out and moved to Idontgiveashitistan.

Maybe she's simply not trying to look younger than she is anymore. I think it makes her look less robotic and more relatable.

Don't misunderstand me, she's still an unrelatable robot (among other things), I just think the "old woman" look she's apparently going for now hides it better.

On a mostly unrelated note, according to both google and the iOS spellchecker, "unrelatable" isn't actually a word.

Obama halts amnesty push in court, bows to incoming Trump administration

http://www.washingtontimes.com...bows-incoming-trump/

The administration has already taken the first step to accommodate President-elect Trump’s positions, agreeing Friday to take a timeout on President Obama’s push to kick-start his 2014 deportation amnesty.

In documents filed with a federal judge in Texas the Justice Department said that in light of the new management that will take over next year, the case should be suspended.

“Accordingly, the parties respectfully submit that further proceedings on the merits of this case, including the submission of a schedule for resolving the merits, should be stayed until February 20, 2017,” the Justice Department and lawyers for Texas said in a joint request of Judge Andrew S. Hanen.

Judge Hanen had halted Mr. Obama’s expanded amnesty in February 2015, just two days before it was to go into effect, ruling that the administration broke administrative law. An appeals court twice upheld his injunction, as did the Supreme Court, in a 4-4 deadlock decision this summer.

The injunction remains in place while Judge Hanen was to hear full arguments — but both sides now say President-elect Trump should have the chance to weigh in .

“Given the change in Administration, the parties jointly submit that a brief stay of any further litigation in this Court before beginning any further proceedings would serve judicial efficiency and economy so that the parties have a better understanding of how they might choose to move forward,” both sides said.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

A less Daily-Mail version of the story....

President-elect Donald Trump demanded an apology from the cast of the Broadway musical "Hamilton" a day after an actor in the hit show delivered a pointed message about diversity to his running mate who was in attendance. The speech aimed at Mike Pence prompted angry responses from liberals and conservatives alike — underscoring yet again the fractious aftermath of the 2016 election.

I read the below paragraph in the story and laughed out loud. Really? I'm so glad to read this! Of course I have a feeling that my definition of "proper exercise" and that of Mr. Romero might be very different.

"President-elect Trump needs a refresher on his high school civics class. Americans don't apologize — not even to presidents or vice presidents — for the lawful and proper exercise of their constitutional rights," ACLU Executive Director Anthony D. Romero wrote in a statement.

This guy is an idiot. Asking for an apology has nothing to do with First Amendment Rights. He's not attempting to censor anyone. Why does the left always trot out this tired excuse every time they act like a jerk?

This moron theater "actor" had responding to Trump's tweet by saying that he won't apologize for having a conversation or some such nonsense.

Hey, genius, a conversation involves two people sharing their opinions. What you did was give a lecture, you self-righteous jerk. You wouldn't last two second in a heads up debate with VP Elect Pence.

“Hamilton” a cast pretending to be a bunch of old white guys. Old white guys who by their sacrifice and brilliance created the greatest nation the world has ever known.

“We, sir — we — are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights,”

I wonder what the men, who these actors pretend to be, would think of such a wimp ass pajama boy declaration ?

What's this Bull Crap about diversity? Just more progressive skulls full of mush.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — "The hottest show on Broadway has won praise for its groundbreaking casting of black and Latino performers, but now, “Hamilton” may have run afoul of the strict New York City Human Rights Law.

"As CBS2’s Tony Aiello reported, the controversy was sparked by a casting notice posted by the producers of “Hamilton,” which specifically seeks “non-white” performers.

One critic said “Hamilton” takes a story that “valorizes dead white guys” and replaces it with black, Latino and multi-ethnic performers playing America’s founding fathers.

But as the blockbuster musical looks to expand to other cities, the casting notice with its call for “non-white” performers looks problematic to civil rights attorney Randolph McLaughlin.

“What if they put an ad out that said, ‘Whites only need apply?’” said McLaughlin, of the Newman Ferrara Law Firm. “Why, African-Americans, Latinos, Asians would be outraged.”

McLaughlin believes the ad violates the New York City Human Rights Law, which makes it unlawful “for an employer… because of the actual written or perceived… race of any person, to discriminate.”

Wait. What?

Are these the same liberals that were demanding Trump apologize every 5 seconds during his campaign?

While I don't agree with the Hamilton guy's perspective, there's nothing crazy or wrong about what was said, which was pretty damn mild given how divisive this election has been. An apology seems ridiculous, frankly, and I'm sure a great many members here would do/say the same degree of criticisms, or worse, if the roles were reversed.
