It's the NY Daily News that's suffering the decline. They are the ones who have been completely unhinged lunatics regarding Trump.

Wasn't that a distinction without a difference?
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Vice President-elect Mike Pence told House Republicans in a closed-door meeting Thursday to be ready to move a lot of legislation next year.
“We’re going to move an agenda”
Pence talked about how he and the new administration wanted members to “buckle up,” and get ready for a speedy start on policy
Pence, a former House member himself, returned to the U.S. Capitol Thursday to visit with House Republicans, and he plans to meet later with top Democratic leaders in the House and Senate.
Pence also told lawmakers one of Trump’s top priorities was taking a deep dive through President Barack Obama’s executive orders. “We applaud that,” he said. “He will be reversing many of them.”
The Indiana governor was first elected to the House in 2000.
Pence, who left Congress at the end of 2010, was chairman from 2005 to 2006 of the Republican Study Committee, a key bloc of House conservatives. He also served as House Republican conference chairman in 2009-2010.
In 2006, he sought to become the top Republican, as minority leader, but lost to John Boehner of Ohio. Many of his former colleagues still in the House, and Pence is seen as having close relationships with many of them.

Van Jones pays the price for his stupid remarks on election night, courtesy of a resolute Mary Matalin. Happy now, Van?

Van Jones is incorrigible. Notice how he used false outrage to shut her down before she could expose him?

He knows he stepped in it and that clip is a good indication of what's in store for him in the coming days.
You asked for it, fucker, and now, you've got it.

And he only was successful because she, sensing that fake outrage, backed off. Take a page from the Trump 'doctrine'. Do not apologize, and do not back off. We need attack dogs to decimate this filth when they start this crap. And the best response to Van's "I'm married to a white woman" comment would have been, "Apparently that makes far more difference to you than it does to the rest of us who have grown up and moved past it".
