Can someone tell me what the big deal is about Ivanka wearing a piece of jewelry from her line (GASP!) at the 60 Minutes interview?

The Left is having a shit fit right now about this, but I don't get it. What's wrong here? Big fricking deal!

Didn't Shrillary show up at speeches about "income inequality" wearing $15,000 Armani/Chairman Mao pantsuits?

They are worse than MSNBC right now.

MSNBC doesn't try to hide the fact that they are a leftist network, in fact they are proud of it.

CNN on the other hand is still trying to shill themselves as some sort of "down the middle" organization all while in many ways they've gone as left or MORE left than MSNBC.

Attorney General Roy Cooper (D) has declared victory in his attempt to unseat embattled Gov. Pat McCrory (R).

Cooper declared victory early Wednesday with a 5,000-vote lead over McCrory out of 4.6 million votes cast. That's a 0.5 percentage point lead, and it's small enough that McCrory isn't willing to concede until thousands of provisional, absentee and military ballots are counted and the election results certified by state election officials

Throughout election night, it was clear this race was going to be a nail-biter. As top-of-the-ticket races in North Carolina quickly got called for Republicans (Donald Trump won the state by four percentage points and Sen. Richard Burr, a Republican, won reelection), the lead between McCrory and Cooper switched back and forth pretty much every time a batch of results came in.

McCrory had taken the lead when, just before midnight, 90,000 votes came in from the Democratic stronghold Durham County that boosted Cooper to what he claimed was victory.

In Durham County, three county election officials had to count votes by hand after several of their data storage cards malfunctioned.

When they finally submitted the county's 90,000 votes, McCrory's 60,000-vote lead evaporated to a 2,500 deficit. Cooper declared victory and McCrory cried foul soon after, according to the News & Observer, mentioning to supporters in a speech after midnight "the sudden emergence of over 90,000 votes" and promising to "check everything.

Who does the math? Sheesh. Isn't that more like .01%?

This is what happens when you have a country divided between deplorables and despicables.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

If memory serves me right, I think it was Durham county that kept their polls open for an extra hour because of "malfunctions" they had during the day.

Well, considering this is only the eighth day of Trump's failed transition, I'm gonna' pace myself.

On the twentieth of January, I need capacity for listening to the first day of his failed presidency.

It took a year and a half to get through his failed bid for the nomination and months to get through his failed candidacy for president.

I am sure we'll hear about many interim or daily failures as they smugly tell us about their constitutional obligation to keep the president accountable . . . you know, like they did for us with Obama.

Eric Schmidt, the executive chairman of Google’s parent company, Alphabet, Inc., was spotted at Hillary Clinton’s “victory” party last Tuesday wearing a staff badge, according to a picture recently submitted to Politico.

Google came under fire earlier this year for allegedly altering search results to paint Hillary Clinton in a more favorable light than Donald Trump. Schmidt stated at the time that Google did not pick sides in the presidential race.

“We have not taken a position on the American election and nor do I expect us to,” Schmidt said at the time.

I went cold turkey on the entire assclown parade. I tuned into Hannity for about 2 minutes the other night only to see "that woman" shilling her new book. Barf. Ive been watching FBN and Lou Dobbs before bed and catching up for a few minutes with Maria Big Grin and my morning coffee. Brietbart has replaced Fox on my phone home page and iPad.

Screw the whole lot of them. Theyre a majority of the problem.

Cooper

50.052%

McCrory
2,276,383
49.947%

Total
4,557,538

00.105% Difference

You're correct. But if you can't expect the media to get journalism right, how can you expect them to do the math correctly?

Well for one, unlike Huma, Ivanka didn't/won't/refuses to sleep with the Democratic nominee. Wink

It's along the same line about how what a sweet and loving father and human being Baraaack was for ditching the press in 2008 to take his family and kids to the water park on Oahu but are crying foul and trying to crucify Donald for ditching the press and taking his family out to dinner at an (OMG!!!) STEAK house.

Oh the audacity of Donald for not considering the press now.

EXCLUSIVE: Rutgers University professor taken for psych evaluation after 'threatening' gun control, flag burning tweets

http://www.nydailynews.com/new...ts-article-1.2875736

A Rutgers University professor who’s not too crazy about the president-elect says his post-Election Day comments landed him in a psych ward.

The NYPD took Kevin Allred into custody Tuesday night at his Brooklyn home, with cops saying they were answering a Rutgers police department call for help.

Allred was loaded into an ambulance and taken to Bellevue Hospital for evaluation.

“Rutgers police told them I’m a threat based on political statements I’ve made on campus and on Twitter,” Allred tweeted after the cops arrived at his home.

“And this is for exercising my ... First Amendment rights. I’m being labeled a threat and put in a psych hospital. Trump’s crackdown on free speech has absolutely begun.”

Kevin Allred told the Daily News that he "spent just two hours at the hospital before doctors agreed he had no psychological issues.”

“The doctors were like, ‘This is ridiculous, why did they bring you here?’” Allred told The News. “And I said, ‘That’s what I thought but they told me they had to do it.’”

The NYPD, in a statement, said they were told by the New Brunswick, N.J., campus police said Allred “made threats to kill white people and he was subsequently taken to Bellevue Hospital for evaluation.”

Donald Trump considers Ted Cruz for attorney general: report

Rutgers spokesman Jeffrey Tolvin, in a statement, said that “the Rutgers University Police Department responded to a complaint from a student and took all appropriate action. We have no further comment.”

Allred’s version was that he simply asked, in a class the day after the presidential election and then later on Twitter, if conservatives would care as much about the Second Amendment if guns killed more white people.

“In class, we talked about flag burning generally as a form of protest, and what does the flag mean to different people,” Allred said.

“Then I made a comment, essentially saying, ‘Would people feel the same way about being so lenient with the Second Amendment if people went out and got guns to shoot random white people?’”

But he also sent out a tweet questioning the school’s response to Trump’s election: “hey Rutgers, did you send out an email addressing the fears of MANY RU students for their safety in Trump's amerika yet? did i miss it?”

Allred previously made headlines for teaching a women’s and gender study class, “Feminist Perspectives: Politicizing Beyonce.”

Allred was at his Greenpoint home when officers from the 94th Precinct appeared at 9 p.m. Tuesday. The cops said they were there to take him Bellevue after attempts by Rutgers officials to reach Allred proved fruitless.

“I have no record of them trying to call me or an email from them,” said Allred, who asked what would happen if he refused to leave.

“They said, ‘Yes, you can refuse, but then we’ll take you by force,’” he recounted. “They kept saying, ‘You’re not under arrest, but if you don’t go with us we’ll take you by force.’”

Allred was not handcuffed and rode in an ambulance to Bellevue, he said.

The officers filled out some paperwork at the hospital and left, he said. He was released from the hospital about two hours later.

“That they zeroed in on this as a real problem, that police from different states, that they had to use all these resources is kind of mind-blowing to me,” he said.

Allred said he won’t delete his tweets.

“Yeah, it's kind of incendiary, but it's not a threat,” he said. “It's meant to make people think about the other side. In my opinion, it's perfectly within a freedom of speech parameter.”
