Federal courts will shift to the right under Trump
WASHINGTON — The legal world is transfixed with the Supreme Court vacancy President-elect Donald Trump is poised to fill. But his greater impact, at least in the short run, could come by filling vacancies and replacing retiring judges on federal appeals courts that hear 400 times as many cases.
It has taken President Obama nearly eight years to liberalize a majority of those courts. At the end of George W. Bush's presidency, 10 of the 13 circuit courts had a majority of judges nominated by Republican presidents. Today, nine of them have a majority of Democratic presidents' nominees.
But not for long: Trump is likely to reverse that advantage in just one term, establishing Republican control over nine appeals courts and leaving three others deadlocked, based on current retirement trends. Only the special appeals court created in 1982 to hear patent and trademark cases would retain a majority of Democratic appointees.
“He will quickly have an opportunity to tip the balance back to ultra-conservative control over a majority of the circuits,” says Nan Aron, president of the liberal Alliance for Justice. “There will be a huge ideological shift in these influential courts around the country.”
We could sure use some help in CA with this. Does anyone know how this might affect the 9th circut?

Thank you. That's exactly right. We elected this guy because we want him making decisions; now that he's doing so I plan to support him. He already prevented that witch from ever being POTUS, so that's a huge win. The thing is, we aren't privy to all the reasons behind the scenes for decisions. Folks second guessing Trumps decisions are getting their info from the same media that fed us bullshit.

I found some leaked video of the Secret Service attempting to calm Hillary down. Here you see SAIC Perkins with his hand around her throat, her forked tongue doing it's thing:

I know it's obviously inane to say it, but so far--one week in--I think Trump is doing a fantastic job.
I know the actual deplorables are having a hissy and ginning up everything they can against a yet-to-happen Trump administration, but the Donald is managing well.
I see him making some very strategic moves, and I think the Left very much underestimated how savvy the guy really is. They say he's "not smart", but he sure as hell outmaneuvered them consistently, and I think he's setting them up again--and setting himself up to get his agenda underway.

It is hard to imagine this is what we lived with for 8 years.
No gonna happen with a season executive well versed with taking over and then turning around a failed outgoing CEO who implemented procedures which failed and set up the company for failure.
A good CEO with a proven track record as Trump is proven to have, will immediately change the failed procedures and processes, admit one or two of the outgoing CEO's might be usable, and then move on while applauding those below him/her without taking any credit themselves.

I'm sure you can sing this Johnny Cash tune with these lyrics:
"I hear that train a comin’ It’s rollin’ round the bend. Gonna pick up Mrs. Clinton And take her to the pen. They’ll have her coronation Make her cell block queen Hillary for prison... two thousand and sixteen They’ve got an orange pants suit Hangin’ on the wall And a cell for Bubba Willie Just a little down the hall. We’ll put ‘em in the big house Lock them up inside. Unless a whole lot of witnesses Commit suicide. Remember James McDougal And 20 or 30 more About to testify, they found ‘em dead upon the floor. Now they’re pilin’ up the bodies Like they did back then They want back in the White House Here we go again. Glue the china to the table Nail the table to the floor Lock up all the silver ‘fore they haul it out the door White trash in the White House Beats all I’ve ever seen. Hillary for prison two thousand and sixteen."
