Who's the pick for Attorney General, that's what I want to know.

There are rumors of him being considered for Sec.of State, but I truly believe Giuliani is destined for AG. He is perfect for the job, and would have no problem passing confirmation.

I heard that too, but I'm personally hoping he becomes Attorney General.

I just really want to see John Bolton as Secretary of State.
Me, too. Both!

I just saw on Fox that Rudy wants Sec of State & said, "I won't be AG."

Anything Rudy and Don wants, they get Big Grin

I have no problem with Rudy as Sec. of State, he would be great. Even though I like Bolton's moxie (from the link):

quote:
Bolton has years of federal government experience, but he has also raised eyebrows with some of his hawkish stances, including a 2015 op-ed in The New York Times in which he advocated bombing Iran to halt the country's development of nuclear weapons.

Obama may be taking more of a James Buchanan approach to his lame duck period. Buchanan conveniently and essentially said in his time that it wasn't his role to thwart what people wanted to do. Of course, that led to an unimpeded secession effort.

In our time, Obama may be promoting the desired lawless upheaval that has marked his tenure as president.

Unlike then, when Lincoln could not take office until March of the following year, the lame duck period is much shorter now due to the 20th Amendment. Part of that was to keep lame ducks from festering problems for incoming administrations. Buchanan left a mess for Lincoln because Buchanan refused to lift a hand.

Obama wants to reinvigorate a demoralized base. They may feel as though they got schlonged (thoroughly beaten). So, let them riot, regroup and return to the lawlessness that brings much of the left together.

Respew empty "isms" and set some things on fire. That will shore up the movement Obama created. Citizens are tired of it as evidenced by this election but Obama must do something to revive emotion in a group narcolized by Clinton. Obama is trying to put his base back together.

Disorder may be Obama's only central legacy and it seems fitting that he would encourage plenty of it as he leaves.

Rudy should be AG or the big cheese at the FBI or even let him run homeland sec. Bolton should be Sec of State. I will be disappointed if Bolton doesn't get the job.

Rudy as Sec State is surprising. AG, FBI, or DHS seemed more like his type of gig. (shrug)

If some one wants to make a killing, make a pin of a firing pin. Not a real one, but a smaller, fabricated one.

The product doesn't exist yet, as far as I can see.

sell like hotcakes.

These whiny crybabies were demanding a free college education.

Well they got one.

The Electoral College education.

All it cost them was their dignity.

There is a great transcript on the Limbaugh site about a possible theory regarding Trumps softening on Zippy and the left. Its an interesting read.

"When you have to kill a man, it costs nothing to be polite." ~ Winston Churchill

That sums up my theory for Trump's recent comments towards the Clintons and his behavior toward Obama. No, I don't think he's going to literally kill them but he is plainly going to dismantle Obama's legacy like a housewife with a chicken and about as quickly. He's also going to let the FBI have its head on Clinton.

Thank you President Trump.

A search of state election records was conducted by a Portland television station which reported that of the 112 protesters that were arrested, 69 of them could not be found to have turned in a ballot or were not registered to vote in the Beaver State.

The local NBC affiliate in Portland took the names and ages of those arrested to Multnomah County election officials who did a search on the state’s voter files, reported KGW-NBC.

Only 25 of those arrested voted in 2016 in the state.

As of the remaining 17 arrested by the Portland Police Bureau, KGW reported that it is still trying to verify their voting records.

What's this? Useful investigative reporting? I seem to vaguely recall such things, from a long time ago, in another life...
