Hound DogDonald Trump is a first-rate ass clown, but...
I love watching the libs melt down over this. They will continue to criticize EVERY choice Trump makes, so get used to it. Chief of Staff, SecState; heck, they would even criticize who he picks to pour his coffee and squeegee his windows. NOTHING Trump does will be good enough.
Also, prepare for when he takes office and starts doing conservative stuff. The libs WILL cry about "50% of the people voted for the hag, so Trump has an 'obligation' to take their concerns into account.". .
They will conveniently forget that president sparklemuffin never took conservatives and our values into consideration - didn't skippy say "elections have consequences". . ? (They did this to Bush in 2000, and they always run off the same old playbook).
I'm loving it. Cry liberal babies; cry.

mbinkyWhat would be the better job for Conway? Press secretary or communications director?

RichardCWhat do you think about John Bolton?

I'm most excited about the possibility of him being a part of the administration, hopefully as Sec of State. I would really love to see him in that role.

I think he would be infinitely better as SecState than that fuckwit Corker. I swear, I'll have a hard time feeling good about Trump if Bob "Handed the Iran deal to Obama" Fucking Corker gets the nod. The fact that he's on the short list is enough to make me extremely nervous.
Hopefully, Trump is getting an earful about that one.

I predict that there will be many suggestions and statements about the law made here, and some of them will be spectacularly wrong. - jhe888

A PS is basically the spokesman for the WH, and the one who has to deal with the press corp on a daily basis.
I think Conway is better than a Press Secretary. IMO, she would be great as a Deputy Chief of Staff, or even as another Senior Adviser type of deal.

You can't make this shit up. Astounding.
Yeah Ted Nugent would never accept that position unless he could carry a weapon into every country he traveled to

That is a good fit.
My thought as well. When Priebus was asked what he thought Conway's position might be, he said that as far as he was concerned, anything she wants. That put a smile on my face.

XinTXI'm not thrilled about the choice of Preibus, but not upset by it. I do see how Trump is rewarding the loyalty that Reince showed following the convention. Could have made a better choice, could have made FAR worse choices.
And I'm NOT a fan of the Corker idea either.
I would like to see Newt as a senior adviser. Newt knows the ropes and isn't afraid to speak truth to power.

BBMWWasn't the scuttlebutt that Newt would get State? He's going to get something significant, since he was a major surrogate for Trump during the campaign.
And is there any talk about who'll get Defense?

BBMWPreibus seems to be the bridge to the congressional Republicans. I know they're mostly GOPe, but Trump is going to have to work with them to get stuff passed. Preibus would be a good choice to facilitate that (which is exactly why some people aren't going to like him.)

I've heard General Mike Flynn's name thrown out there.
And yes, Sessions too.

XinTXWith Reince working in the White House, I hope that Kasich takes this as a shot across the bow. Hopefully the party extracts a price from him for crawfishing on his pledge to support the nominee.

mbinkyFox mentioned that Newt wasn't interested in State, but rather just a senior advisior position. Personally I like this idea as I would rather have Newt in the country wispering in Trump's ear with Bannon than traveling around the world.

sdyof all Trump's team, Mike Flynn has always rubbed me the wrong way. Hope he has a minor role.
