Something I was thinking about that the Trump administration could work on and implement on voter ID and cleaning up the voting system is that if the government can run a NICS system for purchasing firearms nationwide, then they can implement a similar system to clean up existing voter roles, and determine and eliminate duplicate / multiple state registrations and dead people, as well as any other ineligible voters. I'm not saying take voter registration away from the States, but the State registrations and rolls would have to be vetted by the national system to make sure they are accurate.
Votes, after all, are deadlier than guns!
