It is a common repair technique on guitars when the slots in the saddle or nut get worn too deep. Or when filed just one swipe too many when cutting the slots (btdt more than once).
Nuts and saddles are either made of bone or a hard plastic.

I've used on guitar nuts a few times but I use it almost anytime I use CA glue really. It's not as strong as epoxy but it sets up in seconds.

Very nice! I'll remember that.
On a side note, I found that background music very relaxing and appealing. Any idea who it is?

I used to work at a plastic rapid prototyping company. We used that all day long prepping parts for silicone molds. Don’t sniff the fumes, it’s nasty. Oh, and it gets hot enough to burn you too.

Baking powder vs. baking soda?
“Baking soda (pure sodium bicarbonate) requires an acidic ingredient (like buttermilk or lemon juice) and moisture to activate, providing an instant lift. Baking powder contains baking soda, a dry acid, and cornstarch; it only needs moisture and heat to work. Baking soda is four times stronger than powder and often results in a denser, spread-out rise.”
Serious about crackers.

I used this baking soda and superglue trick to repair a pick-up grabber tool this weekend. one of the "fingers" broke. I use this pick-up grabber tool to pick up sticks in the yard, so I don't have to constantly bend over.

I used it to repair an outdoor solar light, lasted a few months and fell apart again.

I'll have to remember this.
Thought the techniques with some of the repairs were good ideas, too.
Repairing the plastic gear, wow.

I just bought 20lbs of sodium bicarbonate, but I'm a little short on super glue.
