Wife and kids are out of town for a few days. Just myself and the loyal hound to fend for ourselves. Going to give this a whirl tomorrow on a NY strip cooked over wood.

150ml – The Glenlivet expression of your choice
75ml – olive oil
150ml – soy sauce
75ml – Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp – Dijon mustard
1 onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, crushed
Salt and pepper to taste

Wait. You’re using scotch in a marinade?

I use a similar marinate, but use relatively cheap bourbon. Also a bourbon glaze, very tasty o fish.

I do a similar marinade. But you forget instructions.

1: Drink Scotch
2: mix other ingredients and marinade for up to 24 hours.

These go to eleven.

That's how I thought the directions would read too.

That’s what I was thinking. Just use a cheaper bourbon.
