The Streamlight is called FDE but to me it is more of a metallic bronze especially compared to the 320 slide.


Think I’d like the slide a bit more metallic/gloss finish like the light. Maybe a bronze molyresin would be a better option to have the slide done after I get it milled?

J..you should have this in Pistols so people can enjoy seeing it. Its a darn sharp looking 320. I like the Wilson mod.

Thought about that but since the question is not exactly about the pistol but colors/coatings as a whole thought I would drop it in here.

Thats the problem with FDE. Every manufacturers has a slightly different shade so if you buy a bunch of accessories from different companies it always looks weird.

That light is definitely bronze, though. Their other FDE-ish color's got that metallic element, too, only it's a bit darker bronze.

I'd imagine that's anodizing on the light and it's just the nature of the beast when it comes to the sheen.

Problem this time is want to go the other way. I want the shine/sheen unlike the holster in the other thread.

I just bought a FDE Svenson Glock slide. Its actually kinda yellow.

My Beretta M9A4 is more of a bronze too. I like the color a lot more than the FDE on my M17. I’ve got a Trijicon RMR that is more bronze than FDE too.
