delicately calloused
| Reminds me of a lake deep in the Sierra Natl Forest at which I camped many decades ago in my youth. Camped at one end of the lake slightly larger than this one, I woke in the middle of the night to see a sight much like this by the light of the moon. The other scouts were fast asleep. It was August so the breeze was comfortable out of the sleeping bag. I stood up and tip toed to the water's edge and spent quite a while watching and thinking about those things that concern a boy of 13. It was one of those moments when a person is transformed in his heart by what he is witnessing. I'll never forget it. Description can't begin to fully portray what I experienced. Thank you, Club
