This is probably a little early as they just came out last month, but does anyone know anything about the Apex Optics, Vapor 1-4x22 Prism Sight? The reticle is basically a circle-dot with a tree of sorts below for holder. It would work nicely for me as I've got issues with the best of red dots on the market. For my needs a 1-4 would work, would prefer a 1-6, but I can live with it. Just curious as to what the street price will be. ---------- “Nobody can ever take your integrity away from you. Interesting. Canadian company, other optics made in Japan so presumeably the Vapor will be as well. If you wind up getting one, I'd love to hear what you find. I hadn't heard about it last weekend when I ordered a ZeroTech 1-4x24 Thrive HD variable prism from TheGunDock. The ZeroTech's MSRP is $599 (ordered it for slightly over half of that), and it apparently has one or two Chinesium components but all assembly is supposed to be in the U.S. If the Vapor is built in Japan like the rest of the line, it may well be the better option. http://www.zerotechoptics.com/...4x24-variable-prism/ Either way, I'm glad to see shorter, lighter 1-4 power optics getting developed, and if the 1-4s take off then I wouldn't be surprised to see some neat 1-6 options getting developed. | |||
