I listened to it yesterday and commented in the Trump thread. IMO the long format podcast style was perfect for Trump because it gave him time to articulate his entire thought process and "weave" it all back together. The man really is brilliant, but when he talks he brings multiple thoughts together into a single point, and that takes some time to convey. The media (and the public) don't have the attention span for that, and always cut him down into clips or sound bytes, which miss most of his point and make him come across as rambling or non-sensical because they leave out most of the process.

IMO the Rogan interview was brilliant because it was just a conversation. Trump was forthright and unscripted, and Rogan guided the conversation but didn't cut him off and let him convey his entire point. It gave a look at the man, Donald Trump, that you'll never get by watching traditional media. I thought it was awesome, and I hope a lot of people, particularly undecided voters, take the time to watch or listen to it.

ETA: Also, if anybody had a thought that Trump is suffering from age or senility, this interview should put that to rest. There's no way a senile person could have taken multiple complex ideas and brough them together into cohesive points over and over again for three hours like Trump did in that interview. The man is as sharp as a tack.

Harris doesn’t have the capacity to sit and give coherent, meaningful answers for 15 minutes, much less 3 hours.
