It sounds like a return volley back at DeSantis. A lot of unemployment, mortgages not being able to be paid. Spending drops, local economy.

Because 2300 Woke Entitled Imbeciles employed by Disney were told they have to return to the office and don't want to?

Its all Disney companies and locations, from NY to CA

From the Article

While The Post observed that the signees "include workers across Disney’s stable of businesses, including ABC, 20th Century Studios, Marvel Studios, Hulu, Pixar, FX and others," they also noted that Disney employs "more than 200,000 people in total."

I can tell you for a fact that I get significantly more work done when working from home than I do in the office. My company forced everyone to go back in the office in a 'hybrid model' in the new year, citing 'synergy' and 'increased productivity'. I've worked from home for over 15 years. My job is 100% electronic - working with people via phone, webex, email, chat, whatever. Many on my team are spread across the country.

Now I go into the office for my mandatory 3 days a week. People are constantly stopping by to chat, then they walk to the cafeteria to get coffee (4x per day) - then they take lunch. During the football season there is literally 4 hours of fucking fantasy football bullshit every day and in another month it'll be fucking 'March madness' so they can once again fuck off for most of the day and distract people that are actually trying to work since it's all 'open bay'.

In the office I honestly can work about 2 hours per day with the constant interruptions. It was the main reason I asked to work from home originally. At home I work from 8-5, eat at my desk, often start early and stay late. All during covid MANY people on my team worked long hours - we had nothing else to do with everything being closed. Those habit carried over even after the lockdowns ended. Well those days are now done - I'll work my 8-5, take an hour lunch and NOT bring my laptop home in the evening. My actual productivity will be a fraction of what it was, but hey - the executives can all get their virtual dicks sucked by everyone being in the office.

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Based upon what you know of the work ethic of the average modern American worker, would you agree that in this respect, you are exceptional?
