I have purchased through eBay some collector-level coins recently. Prior to July 31, 2024 I was being charged sales tax on these purchases. After August 1, 2024 sales tax was no longer being collected. Finding that strange, I searched the Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS) for info about sales tax exemptions. KRS 139.480(37) was newly added and became effective on August 1, 2024 and it EXEMPTED “bullion and currency” from sales taxes. Yippee !!!! --------------------- DJT-45/47 MAGA !!!!!
