Pre-lit artificial Christmas trees
Bought a large pre-lit wreath and the lights only lasted 2 seasons.

My wife likes a lot of lights so she's always added strands to our pre lit tree

Is it just me? Or is this very early October?

My wife bought a Balsam Hill tree about four or five years ago. I thought it was alot to spend on a tree, but she likes it, and the kitten that she adopted last year approves, so who am I to argue?

We bought ours after Christmas one year. It has survived the attic in NC (I had a attic fan and it wasn’t over triple digits) it has been packed up, and moved twice and two years in the attic here in Temple....still looks great.

Always buy after the season is over.

But a wreath for the smell.

We have a pre lit tree fro Costco and it’s been great. Looks quite real, easy to put up, and no mess.

When cut-your-own reached $70+ a couple years ago we decided to start looking for artificial, stopping a 45 year tradition. Got the Balsam Hill sample pack, but SWMBO nixed all of them. So the hunt began. Saturday after Thanksgiving she saw one at Michael's of all places that she loved. $300+ but on sale for 50% off. Led, center power connections. She loved it. So, The day after Christmas we were in Michael's again and the last boxed one was up for grabs at 60% off. This will be the 3rd season for it, and we have a back-up! Mama's happy...

Bought an after Christmas sale last year. Hope it lasts, but honestly my expectations are to get 3-4 years of use from the pre-lit.

This was our experience, last year my lovely wife and MIL spent 2 hours cutting the wires off the damned tree.

never again

I bought one three years ago . . sorta. It was a few days after Christmas and I paid $60 for a $500 tree (iirc). So the first year we have it, the thing is in a box. After the first 'use' we have bins that it gets put in. This seems to help keep them fresh smelling and lights working for a few more years.

We have used it the last few years and the girls (especially the little one) get a kick out of programming the lights. This is the 3rd tree we have done this way over the last 20 years. We use them until my wife says she thinks it is time to move on, then I go out after Christmas and shop around till I find one that works.

We bought one from Costco ~ 4 yrs ago.
It has been super convenient streamlining Christmas set up. It is going strong, easy to assemble and knock on wood works like a champ.
