Any thoughts on the Howard Leight Impact Pro ear muffs? I broke the battery cover on my current ear protection, looking for a replacement. These have pretty decent reviews. They will primarily be used at an indoor range, pistol caliber shooting. What are you guys using?

I have used Howard Leights for years now. I like them, and use them indoors. Depending on what I, or others nearby, are shooting, I use foam plugs under them.

Surd, there are some new technology, but these work well, and I don't plan to switch.

I too, use those same muffs…love them!
I also started using the moldable ear plugs from Decibulz….they work great, especially for the range days with rifle where you end up fighting with your muffs on the stock. I work in a LGS and the boss brought back some from SHOT show

I switched to the Pros from the Impact Sports. There is a world of difference in the noise reduction. They have been fantastic indoors with pistol and rifle on a very active range. I also bought a pair for my wife and she loves them too.

Highly recommend.

Put me down as a user. I have two pair, one for the range and one for the lawnmower, leaf blower, etc.
