Well, today at work I started to feel pain, a huge urge to urinate. I made it to the compound after the afternoon elementary run and passed a stone. I was still hurting, but it wasn't too bad so I finished the afternoon and did the middle/high school route. Finished, made it to the compound and home. Started to feel more pain and well I passed another one. It's about .25 caliber! I feel like I have been through the ringer.... I didn't feel it coming on. Just bam! here you go. ARman

Nuthin' worse than pissin' bullets. Place your clothes and weapons where you can find them in the dark. “If in winning a race, you lose the respect of your fellow competitors, then you have won nothing” - Paul Elvstrom "The Great Dane" 1928 - 2016

I've had my share, and in my cases the last few inches was the easy part.

I've been experiencing the same issues you describe but in a considerably smaller caliber. Recent lithotripsy produced a small hand not-so-full of tiny gravel debris. The larger stone remains but with a noticeable chip now missing. One described his as 'broken glass wrapped in barbed wire'. Mine not so much now. Good luck OP. **************~~~~~~~~~~ "I've been on this rock too long to bother with these liars any more." ~SIGforum advisor~ "When the pain of staying the same outweighs the pain of change, then change will come."~~sigmonkey

My first certainly hurt passing but almost immediately after, I felt and can recall to this day, what I describe as a euphoric feeling that it was over. 'I am the danger'...Hiesenberg NRA Certified Pistol Instructor NRA Certified Rifle Instructor NRA Life Member

The first one feels like 40mm, the next one like .50 cal, then it gets easier until you finally pass a .17 HMR. If you're goin' through hell, keep on going. Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it. You might get out before the devil even knows you're there. NRA ENDOWMENT LIFE MEMBER

So is someone going to start the two 9mm vs one .45 debate? What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

Had two over the years, not so big but certainly came with debilitating pain. The second one put me in the hospital for 3 days, just wouldn't move. I got sent home still with the stone but all doped up on pain meds... The thing is, I was young and recently married and still hitting "it" every day, at a minimum, but I had missed those three days I was in the Hospital so naturally as soon as I got easy and felt a break in the pain we did "it". Well the stone was apparently transferred during the "event". I never found it in my piss but it sure was gone... somewhere! Talk about a win win! Collecting dust.
