Has anyone ever been hassled because they have firearm-related bumper stickers, decals and such on their car/truck?

I have been averse to displaying anything like that on my vehicles, but I've been reconsidering, as my #2 driver is a small runabout that is more a toy than a serious driver. I thought about putting a few decals on it to give it some pizazz.

But if doing so leads to confrontation or other aggressive behavior (trust me: I get enough based on the size of the car alone), then I'd probably leave it alone.

I don't put stickers on my vehicles, as to your question, don't see a reason to advertise that you may have a firearm on your person or in the vehicle but my choice is really based on "no stickers ever".

I've gone less-is-more like many others. I can confidently say the lack of stickers has never led to any increased aggressiveness due to the stickers that aren't there.

I put stickers (on magnets) on my safe. But if I did put them on my car I would make them an obscure reference that the uninitiated would likely not comprehend.

For example, rather than a NRA or Glock sticker, I might put an ILA or USPSA sticker on the glass where it is easier to remove.

Nope, but get lot's of thumbs up's.
A lot of people are "afraid" of stickers and advertising or whatnot but not me.
No problem at all.
Had lot of people love my NOBAMA sticker.
Had a cop who stopped me (and let me go) on a traffic deal like my NOBAMA and NRA sticker.
So I am not one of the paranoid 'fraidy-cats'.

Ive struggled with this very subject, not because I worry what anyone will think or say but rather because we were broken into and my go bag stolen after smashing windows. The dangerous items traveling to Indianapolis in less than a week. I didn't really have firearm related stickers but did have my FOP medallion on there and figure it was simple math for douchebags to find a gun inside. My windows are now sterile for that reason. Here in TN we have Emergency license plates available and now I'm glad I decided against one of those.

In my neck of the woods, having an NRA sticker or a gun sticker (Remington, Sig, you name it) on your truck is as common as camo. Nobody thinks much of it. I mostly don't do it because I don't wanna tell the thieves which truck has the gun in it.

OK, so this is the car I'm thinking of putting it on.

And, just so you know, this is a "project" car. My main driver is a fossil-fuel burning, high-performance German steel machine. I'm not yet ready to give up my man card.

The only reason I can think of for having one of those vehicles skateboards, would be to put in the back of a toy hauler for cheap transportation around a camping area. Wink
