I bought a pair of these Alpine Swiss Yukon Mens Genuine Suede Shearling Slip On Moccasin Slippers just to try out. At $25, I didn't expect them to last but a year, and then replace them. But they are over a year old now and still in good shape. The inside "shearling" is synthetic, of course, but it is holding up well.

When in doubt, mumble

On cooler mornings, like today, I wear Sorel slippers. On warm days I go barefoot, drives my wife crazy. For casual yard wear I have a pair of crocs.

I wear the LL Bean flannel lined slippers all year round. Good enough to wear on an errand if you really want to. Fifty bucks https://www.llbean.com/llb/sho...ityProd07_Cat&SS3=Bs

I like Koolaburras made by Ugg. They have harder rubberized soles that will stand up to the wet. More like a real shoe but fuzzy inside.

I'll usually have a pair or two of Church's 'air travel' slippers around. Super comfortable.

When I am building store displays, I can take my most worn pair and use them for that.

My last pair fit so well, I started buying them from other people instead of using mine.

Not by me. The lined ones are great in the winter.

I just use a pair of nike running shoes that are light weight. I only use them in the house and don't step off my porch with them on.

They are cloth so a quick cycle in the washer and they are free of funk.

Birkenstock Clogs. I prefer the closed toe with a little more form than open toed sandals. Been wearing them in the house for about 10 years. My ankles and back feel significantly better after starting this practice.

I love the LL bean scuffs with shearling, but they are a bit warm for summer, other than mailbox runs. This flannel looks like a good option.

Sorel year 'round.

Don't get me wrong, I love Crocs and have worn them at work for 16 years now (same pair), but my Sorel slippers have been perfect for home use for nearly as long.

I'm not sure they make my model still, but I bought two extra pairs and have them in the closet just in case they discontinued them.

^^^ THIS Year round; no Crocs!

I live in LLBean land, and live by their hard sole "Wicked Good" moccasins Here

I get a new pair every other year in the fall, and use them almost year round.

For the summer months that are too warm for lined moccasins, I wear flip flops.

I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.
