tsmccullIOS update puzzle?
My 6s iphone told me some weeks ago that it had an update to IOS 12 ready for download. After reading about some of the new issues with that revision, I held off and didn’t upgrade. Some weeks later it was telling me that 12.01 was ready for download. Didn’t do anything about that one either and now I see that it’s back to pushing IOS 12 again (12.01 disappeared).
Anybody else seen this and have any idea why the recommended upgrade seems to have reverted to the earlier version? I don’t recall seeing any of the version 11 upgrades go backwards.

bubbatimeMaybe it has to install 12 first, before it can 12.01?

slosigAre you sure it isn’t pushing 12.1 now? That is the current.

sig 22612.1 has been fine on my 6S.
BTW, 12.1 is the current version and is default now, not 12.0.1. If you upgrade, it will push you to the latest.

Pipe SmokerI always hold out for the X.2 version. Most of the bugs are fixed by then.

.38supersigMy 6S acted kinda screwy with the battery.
Went from 100% to 1% in about three hours. It stayed on while showing 1% for two and a half days.
Guess it has to recalibrate the battery with the new IOS.
