Para and or Mods if this is not permitted please nuke and my apologies.

SIGforumites,

I have been following the stories coming out of Bastrop, La for years. One of which involves two lowlife evil men Boots Stanley and Stephen Sadler two known men at Bastrop Kill Pen in Lousiana video recorded and enjoyably slit a pitbull's throat four times after tying him to a slaughter bound horse and terrorizing the animal before putting it to death in Morehouse Parish.
They were arrested plead guilty and got probation despite many efforts to get them much deserved jail time. Apparently
the Stanley Family has a slaughter house known for cruelty and they run Bastrop with money and intimidation. Hence the no jail time that they both so deserved. The judge is crooked too.

Story below:

https://nypost.com/2018/06/14/...-throat-on-snapchat/

http://myemail.constantcontact...9670&aid=zWB-z282J8A

The horrid video can be found online I will not post it.

Now it has happened again....

Another dog has been killed in Bastrop. The video is violent and graphic. The dog is a pregnant Labrador Retreiver who was tied down and shot multiple times all the while crying and trying to escape.

You can find the horrifying online I will not post it.

They have caught the f%&$#+ and now they need your help to step on the neck of these officials in the state and county. So if you have the time I would very much appreciate your help!

if you fb: here is the evil scum https://www.facebook.com/tobias.conway

Bastrop is a Cesspool which should be nuked from above IMHO. It going to be the serial killer breeding ground capital of the world.

And, again, the depths of human immorality falls below the infinite hell of the netherworld.

How can anyone hurt a dog? Dogs are the purest form of love. Immorality of the human species will breed such filth called man.

It is easy.

Be really hungry, be really twisted, or work in a shelter or laboratory.

I don’t know of anyone who works in a shelter who deliberately hurts a dog. Euthanize? Yes, but humanely, and typically not if it can be avoided.

I suspect that those who work in labs go out of their way to be as humane as possible. I’d guess even most of those who are “really hungry” do their best to “harvest” as humanely as possible.

I’d guess that you’re right on at least one out of four though, with the really twisted.

no matter how humane, I believe killing hurts the killed.

If you had to kill a dog yourself, what would the most humane method be?

Cutting the throat would seem pretty quick, if you can't put a bullet behind the ear.

Seriously?

This has nothing to do with this particular topic.

These people just made it close to the top of my "People to eliminate WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE if I'm every diagnosed with something that leaves me only two weeks to live" list.

People that hurt the innocent be it human or animal disgust me. I just cannot imagine doing something so horrible for joy (or whatever).

Emails sent. Thanks for the heads up.

There are a number of animal rights organizations in Louisiana. I will google around this afternoon and see if I can determine the three most effective. Then I will email those organizations.

Bastrop is indeed a cesspool, so I think contacting the mayor, police chief, and others would probably be a waste of time.

But the SPCA and Animal Rescue New Orleans might be able to exert more leverage in Louisiana politics. And might be able to help more directly.

What do you think of this approach, T? You know this situation in Bastrop better than any of us-- what do you recommend we do, exactly?

I don't know how anybody who loves dogs-- and there are so many on this site-- can just sit back. I can't bear to even watch the videos....

Really? We are supposed to be getting our panties in a twist over a dog getting its throat cut. That this is defacto cruel. So my question is whether it is actually excessively painful for a dog compared to other ways of killing.

It is how cattle are killed for kosher and halal butchering, and is not supposed to be cruel to the animal.

A 22 to the back of the dog's head might be faster, but might not be legal to discharge a firearm depending on location and not everyone owns guns.

So my question stands. As a means of putting down a dog without access to specialized equipment, if not throat cutting then how? Drowning? Head in a baggy? Strangulation? Those all sounds worse for the dog to me.

Dude, you're off topic and out of line. Start your own thread if you wish, but stay the hell out of this one.

Also, apologize to P226RN for crapping all over her thread.
