Have a live stream coming up that I need to watch but can't watch in it's entirety when it is going on.
Possibly will be available on demand for 72 hours but likely won't get to sit down for the whole thing all at once in that time frame either as this is a crap of a weekend.

Anyway to do this easily?

I have other things I must do and will need my phone at the time.

I used to use a program called streamripper for audio, I don't know if it does video too, but ISTR it does. It can capture a stream to a file in any case.

Use OBS:

And set it to screen capture, then maximize the stream.

Make sure you test it first to ensure it's capturing the proper screen and audio.

trying it out now

Guessing my computer is too old. Keeps saying the encoder is overloaded.
The playback is choppy

Played with some settings.
I think it was trying to upscale or something.

Have it set to record the same as the stream. Set the stream to 1080p and I think we might be good.
