Why the bias towards one manufacturer over another, kids?

What to really make a difference? Put on safety vests and yellow hard hats and sweep 50 miles of gutter in the inner city, while counseling kids to stay in school and experiment with more constructive outlets for their energy.

This is an amazing opportunity for Smith & Wesson & the firearm community.

They could to a lot of things to take advantage of this opportunity from an educational stand point
1. Line the last mile of the router with educational material showing the real statistics on firearm use & misuse in the United States

2. Offer free safe firearm handling classes to the marchers

3. Provide seminars on respect for human life, and the impact of bullying, social media, and video games on these events

4. Assure that the marchers know that the predominant number of shooters are from their age group and obtained/possessed the firearms illegally.

5. Educate the marchers on how to solicit funding for research on firearm related crimes and how to get personally involved in the effort rather than demanding that others do it for them.

I'm often mystified by the continued presence of S&W in MA.

They'd be much better off down South, if only from a tax perspective.

So you're saying that without the ability to stream the opportunity for participation in self aggrandizing activities ceases to be of value...... I can see that...

I would love to ad to the list, that S&W pay for ARMED security to protect these fools and march with them to make sure that they are safe.

I bet Central Florida would welcome S&W with open arms (and tax benefits) if they'd like to move here. This student tantrum stuff is just, well, stupid.

Maybe they should start in Gary Indiana and march west to Mayor Rahm's office and demand he does something about all the murder and mayhem in Chicago.

Those marches are already happening on Lake Shore Drive and the Dan Ryan. Maybe if they just marched in Gary it would solve the problem. There might be some attrition along the way.

I thought about that but figured they would scream in protest.

I was thinking a bit more strategically. Don't give them what they demand, give them what is really needed, offer it for free with an open invite. If they refuse, it will expose their hypocrisy. If they agree they probably won't like it and it will be obvious (hypocrisy), but might actually learn something.

IANAL but Attention Hogg has now demanded money from S&W as well as Publix in exchange for not having their businesses essentially be targeted. Isn't this extortion & could RICO be applied?

I think S&W moves to NH or ME, over FL or TX, but that's just what I suspect.

What is S&W's tie to the Northeast region??

FYI to the little protesting fucks. S&W is probably the best employer in Springfield. They pay considerably more than minimum wage.

I guess in 162 years you grow roots. Maybe their waiting out the crisis and thinking of future better days.

"Meanwhile, in 1856 Smith and Wesson joined in a new partnership and began manufacturing the first Smith & Wesson revolver ("Model 1") in Springfield, Massachusetts."

I would love to see these "students" actually march/walk 50 miles non-stop.

I doubt if even one of them have ever walked 5 miles at one time in their entire lives.

It is called "Shakedown", the name of the business model that Jesse Jackson employed for decades. He would show up at a Budweiser, or a NASCAR, and threaten a boycott from his "followers" unless the company "donates" to his Rainbow Coalition.
