at least three very good people in coralville , Iowa

We had four errands to run up in Johnson county ,
the last stop was at 1:00,
we ate lunch at the culver's , up there.

This morning when Bonnie was leaving to go to breakfast she could not find her purse anywhere.

She called Culver's ( 70 miles away)
and they said the yes , someone had turned it in to the staff.

Well, she got it back today and nothing was missing, everything was just as she left it.

So a big thank you to those who chose to do the right thing

There are lots of good people around the USA.

Probably 32, or so, years ago. my wife left her purse in a McD restaurant and didn't miss it until we got home. We figured out what had happened, and she called the McD.

Yep, they had it, someone had turned it in.

We drove back and picked it up.

Someone up in Idaho found my mother's purse along side the road, near a parking area, up close to the Montana border.

They contacted her and mailed it back, minus the mailing costs. Oh, yeah, there was over $1000 bucks in cash in it.

Yep, there are still good people around.

There was a period when my wife and I were going through some rough times in life. I forget what it was about. She left her purse in a shopping cart. This is in the Bay Area, citified location.

Someone found it and called her. She got everything back.

A couple of years ago I found $1050 and returned it. What was shocking was the # of people who told me I was stupid for returning it and that they would of kept the money.

Easily 8 out of 10 people at work said they'd keep the money.

I once dropped my wallet at a theatre. I went back as soon as I noticed it was missing and arrived just as the next movie started. I went to my seat and started looking on the floor. The guy sitting in my seat asked what I was looking for. I told him about the wallet, and he had it. Of course while I was there, he rather awkwardly had to place the money back in it.

Remodeling an office once.
Left my favorite claw hammer.
Got 1 mile down the road, remembered and went back.
Hammer gone, no one had seen it.

We did get the wife's phone back after she left it at a restaurant on our table once. The hostess played dumb at first, knew nothing. I insisted it was on the table just 10 or 15 minutes ago and I would like to talk the manager. Her memory magically jogged... she then pulled it from a shelf under her stand, "Oh, is this it?"
