I finally got around to watching this and finished it about a month ago.

I knew it would be better than the US copy I had seen years ago but I do like the difference in endings.
I thought both had interesting endings.

I loved most of the biggies mentioned here. Slow Horses was a great sleeper when trying to find something while recovering from knee surgery.

Bosch- I liked the first 3 seasons better than the last 4.

Yellowstone- really late to the game on this one, but the last half of the last season felt phoned in.

The Wire- the best cop show ever.

Lioness- the season 3 story is awesome. There is the fucking around department, and there’s them. It keeps outdoing itself. The airport scene in the last episode was awesome. Sergeant Major Cody is my favorite character.

Blacklist- I’m about half way through the first season. Seems to have potential.

The Office- Classic Comedy

Parks and Rec- see above

Let me suggest something something a little different. On the streaming platform, tubi (which is free) there’s a British series called Sharpe. The series is composed of 5 seasons set during the Napoleonic Wars with Sean Bean in the title role. Sharpe is an officer given a battlefield commission by Wellington. The British Army at this time is primarily composed of officers who were granted rank by peerage or bought it. Those officers did not take well with what we call a “mustang,” with no royal blood.

The seasons are relatively short, just 3 episodes, but each episode is feature length and can stand independently. I think the writing and acting is very good. The stunt work is poor, but the storylines make that pretty easy to overlook.

The Shield. Older series about a unit of crooked cops in LA. Highly rated series with a tragic ending which I havent seen yet (cheap subsription ran out!)

Life. Good series about a wrongfully convicted cop who was released after 12 yrs in prison.

19-2. Canadian cop show

The Patriot and also Fallout are both on Prime, and very well done.

now, while it is relatively fresh in your mind, go find Ashes to Ashes, it is a separate series of sorts that ties up a few loose ends, kinda, and is basically the finale

Black Mirror, skip the first season, gets much much better

War of the Worlds, not sure what channel this was one but it was a UK/French version, with the mechanical dogs,

dry at times but pretty interesting,

Lost in Space, not as woke and strong female lead as you would think, overall a decent series redo

Silo is really good, third season drags a little, but it's pretty fun.

Dystopian mystery thriller that feels like classic sci fi.

Tim Robbins is a brilliant bastard in it.

Thanks! Never heard of it.
I see it has DCI Gene Hunt-Philip Glenister. I'm really liking that guy.

Going to old school as I don’t really watch a lot of new things. Entourage, the shield, rescue me, nip Tuck, Sons of Anarchy, Longmire, justified.

If I could pick only one. Better Call Saul. No hesitation. It’s on AMC I think?

Note. Really best if you had seen Breaking Bad. (It’s a prequel)

2nd place: Sopranos

I’ve watched Endeavor and Lewis multiple times. On Britbox or PBS.

A lot of interesting informative series on Great Courses.
