I've had a pair for several years. Wore them for everything. Daily, shooting, fishing, beach, pool... The rubber finally gave up on the nose and ear pieces. Sent them in to Costa to be fixed. My model has been discontinued. For $12 they will let me pick a new pair and will ship them to me. Amazing warranty and customer service!

I had a similar experience as well when my 11 year old triple tails started delaminating.

Hearing that makes me want to get a pair even more! I’ve been wanting a pair for fishing but can’t find one with an adjustable nose piece.

The older models that had the softish silicone material all have issues with the material breaking down and peeling away. They replaced the beams on a pair of mine (the Fathoms) years ago and my Fantails are doing the same thing. They said to send them in and they'll take care of it. Great customer support.

I’ve been very happy with them for close to 20 years now. Far better warranty then both Maui Jim and Ray Ban, both of whom refused to replace lenses that delaminated after 18 months or so.

I've had mine several years and subjected them to hours on the motorcycle of contact with sunscreen, sweat, finally the rubber backing on the frames gave out.

Mailed them to Costa and had them back in a week for a small fee, brand new frames.

Nice company to deal with.

Costa is a good company to deal with and very good customer support, BUT their quality isn't as good as Maui Jim, who offers the same customer support and much better quality.

My old Fathoms have suffered the same demise. I wear my Harpoons more but I like having two glass options. Harpoons are amber and Fathoms are blue mirror 580. I'll be sending them in.

I can echo the OP's sentiments almost exactly. Had my old pair (Man O' War?) that had the black vinyl/plastic/magic nose piece come loose, called them to see about fixing it. Explained to them that I would ship to them on my dime if they'd repair, as they were my lucky fishing glasses (and hey, who doesn't have a pair of those, right?). They told me that unfortunately they could not repair them, they were out of parts, but they'd be happy to ship me a brand new pair of my choice for $14 (or whatever ridiculous amount it was), and if I wanted to upgrade my lenses it'd just be the cost difference added on.

I ended up getting a brand new pair that I still have, all for less than an Andrew Jackson. Arrived crazy fast too. I've sung their praises since then, great people and great service.
