flashguyGetting Millennials to vote?
I've never been able to identify what "generation" I'm supposedly part of. I'm not a "Baby Boomer" because I was born 4 years before Pearl Harbor, and I'm not of the "Greatest Generation" because I was nowhere near old enough to fight in WWII. I was also too young for the Korean Conflict. I did serve in USAF for the entire duration of the Vietnam War, but never went to SEA.
Generation names probably are a poor way to characterize people, because so many in that age group won't necessarily share a common culture or beliefs.

You would be a member of the Silent Generation, those born too late to fight in WW2 and too early to be Baby Boomers. BTW, the Greatest Generation is actually called the G.I. Generation.

2AdefenderThe responsible millennial who understands the importance of partipation in elections as citizens will vote. I was referring to the low-information folks who don’t know anything about American history past last week. The free shit, redistribution of wealth crowd. I’m ok if they remain on the sidelines and don’t vote.

Understood, and agree completely.

I'm not saying that a large percentage of millennials aren't morons; of course they are! Just that there are a fairly significant number of them that aren't and that number grows as they age.
