Bose soundbar fit the bill for me. The 300 is only $399 and has the same components as the new ones, but is much cheaper because it doesn’t have all the Alexa and voice command. Sounds great and super user friendly.

I haven't pulled the trigger on this yet because I'm considering throwing more money at it. I hate buying stuff that isn't good quality. Although, I'm not sure I'll appreciate/notice the better quality stuff considering the size of the room.

Well, the family dog if you have one will notice the difference anyway!

Room acoustics is 80% of the equation IMO.
