I lived in Trussville for a few years in the early 90's. I'd be shocked to find any (or very few) taking a knee for the anthem there.

The backstory to this woman is as follows: Her son enlisted in the United States Army leaving behind his pregnant wife/girlfriend. The baby was born February 28 and it appears they're getting married after Boot Camp. This woman's pride and emotions for her son's choices was a reason why she belted out the national anthem.
