old rugged crossEmf blocking?
I thought this had been discussed but came up mostly empty.
Anything to this, mostly for sleeping? My sleeping is declining some. Wife thinks there is something to this. What does the collective think on this topic. Thinking it will vary from one extreme to the other.

Interested in what you guys all think. Lets have at it

LS1 GTOMaybe get a XXXX-large version of one of those boxes you can put your push-button start car keys in, cut out two holes for you eyes, one for your nose if you have a beak, and wear it like a mask at night?

SpinZoneMaybe some baseline information about what you are currently doing?
Do you take your phones into the bedroom at night? What is your evening routine? Do you get any screen time before bed? Do you drink any alcohol at night? TV in the bedroom? How late do you eat?
Good sleep depends on so many different factors, asking about one particular issue is the wrong way to go about it.

probably because you're trying to find emf blocking instead of EMF grounding, earth grounding, or earthing (ie the recent colloquialism and label used on sites like Amazon)
If that is what you meant, here's two threads that I remember commenting in:

Rey HRHI think bigger drivers than emf are affecting your sleep. As SpinZone implies, cross off the bigger drivers first: physical conditioning, physical state / routine before going to bed, stress, exercise, etc.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." sigmonkeyJunk science.
Get some copper bracelets, sleep in a "pyramid" enclosure, dance nekkid while beating sticks on the ground.
Yeah. Do all that and you might get laid.

I've been known to dance nekkid out in the yard when it rains (it's drier than a popcorn fart around these parts in the summer). No beating of sticks though. That would require a trip to the confessional.

I have to agree with the Monkey here. This is junk science converted to marketing converted to profits.
I have never seen any worthwhile study that demonstrates a linkage between EMF emissions and sleep patterns. Do what the others have said and examine your evening routines as they are truly linked to sleep issues.

c1steveYou can purchase an EMF meter and take measurements around your house. I have one, they work very well. Magnetic ballasts from fluorescent lights produce a large amount of EMFs. Same with many microwave ovens. Of course transformers create a huge amount of EMF's, but it is unlikely one is close to your bedroom.

I think EMF emissions causing your sleep problems is greatly misplaced. Are you using wi-fi for internet service, the very service you're making this post on? That is just one form.
BTW, an apartment I rented in Phoenix c. 2005 had an oddly specific clause in the lease: tenants were not permitted to
hang foil in the windows.
