My wife want a pair of these and since I never heard of them, was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with them?
I know they are an Austin, TX based company and that the boots are actually made in Mexico.
Apart from the made in May-hee-co thing, what say ye? Any good?

I got a pair about 6 months ago and love them. I've spent more on "Top Brands", but these rate up there with them. As was mentioned in another reply, they were comfortable right out of the box.

Fantastic. Thanks for the feedback gentlemen. My wife just didn't want to wind up getting swindled. They look great on the website. Now I'm confident they are probably a bargain for what you get.

I like mine. They aren’t handmade custom boots, but they are a very nice $200 pair of boots. Comfortable and seem well put together. If these hold up over the next few months and the price stays steady I’ll buy more.
Nice boots. Quite good for the price. Mexico has a long tradition of bootmaking. You can't get U. S. made boots for twice that price. Maybe three times.

I have 2 pair and thinking of getting a 3rd. I've very happy with the shipping and very pleased with fit and comfort. Lucchese's have been my favorite but I'm just as happy with Tecovas.
Thanks so much for all the input. I ordered her a pair today. Be here tomorrow. Free Fedex shipping too.

I watched a history channel show on how its made, they said it was Texas if I remember correctly. There were lots of Mexicans working there with some working there for decades. I was impressed with the steps they went thru and I was impressed with the factory.Everything looked first class with the steps and machinery to produce their boots.

I’ve got a pair. I’d rated them above Justin but below Luchesse. They are well worth what I paid for them and I wear them often. Hiding up great to wear and tear. Mine at least are a great pair of boots.
At $235 (list), they aren't all that much cheaper than my Ariat that I bought last year. From trying on multiple at Cavender's, it's clear that it's a very person-to-person fit. There were quite a few that I found quite uncomfortable (including a $900 pair of Lucchese). The Ariat won out on comfort by a long shot & were a much better price (for me). IIRC, they were around $280 after tax.

More importantly to me, they are more for working. There aren't really at all dressy or very finely/well made. Definitely a factory made shoe.
I wear boots when I want to wear a "nicer" shoe.
Fair point, didn't think to check the 'made in ___' when I bought them, they were just the most comfortable of the ones I tried on & fit the budget i had at the time.
I was genuinely surprised by how much less comfortable some of the higher priced selections were.
I expect to acquire a pair before too much longer.
