Apparently CBS contacted some unnamed person in the Trump campaign for reaction after the shooting. A female CBS talking head stated that the person stated something to the effect that first, they tried to take him off the ballot, next they tried to put him in jail and now this.

Quite unbelievably, the talking head then went on a rant about how irresponsible and incendiary it was to make such statements and especially when "they" were not identified. Nothing about the dead spectator or the other person who was apparently critically injured.

These reporters are totally tone-deaf.
