The Trump Presidency : Year IV
My favorite line from Willis, when Trump's lawyer was asking her if she had any proof of paying back Nathan Hot Dog in cash for the vacations, she shot back- "the proof is what I just told you" Big Grin.

As obnoxious as she is, her answer is 100% correct. There is nothing legally wrong or incorrect about it and it's taught that way in law school and it's codified too.

All you need is the direct testimony of a single witness as proof of any fact. Depending on the matter, other laws might require other forms of proof but if not, she's absolutely correct. You can push back on her testimony with cross-x, impeachment or your own witnesses or documents however she is right.

Star witness for the defense team Terrence Bradley revealed late in questioning Friday afternoon that he was accused of sexual assault by someone at the law firm at which he was a parnter, along with special prosecutor Nathan Wade.

In questioning by state attorney Anna Cross, Bradley admitted that a large reason he left the law firm was because an employee at the firm accused him of sexual assault, though he denied the allegation.

Bradley indirectly admitted that he paid the employee who accused him.

The admission is key because earlier in his testimony Bradley testified that the reason he left the firm was related to Wade's divorce proceedings, and therefore covered by attorney client privilege, because Bradley served as Wade's divorce lawyer for a time.

Judge Scott McAfee said that Bradley's admission re-opens questions about what Bradley refused to answer about what he knew about Wade and Fani Willis' romantic relationship and when he knew. Bradley refused to answer citing attorney client privilege.

"Mr. Bradley previously testified that the reason he left the firm was totally and completely covered by privilege. When asked by the state, he went into a factual scenario that, to my mind, I don't see how it relates to privilege at all. And so now I'm left wondering if Mr. Bradley has been properly interpreting privilege this entire time," the judge said.

McAfee said he would schedule an in-camera hearing with Bradley to determine matters of privilege in the testimony.

what a circus. The state prosecutors are defending Willis. so when Bradley was called to testify, they argued he could not testify due to client/attorney privilege

Then Bradley said he left the firm because of a sexual assault allegation. The state then attempted to call a woman witness who would impeach Bradley's credibility

but the judge said that testimony was outside the scope of the rules of evidence for the hearing.

All about power, how does this person get into a position to be first elected woman as Fulton County DA?
She's the son of a former black panther who once dated Angela Davis (yes, THAT Angela Davis) and lawyer, she attended Howard (cum laude, no less) and Emory (JD). Her father encouraged her to join the DA's office because her goal was to become a judge. She defines legacy and DEI.

Yet, she comes off like an idiot hoodrat.

And just in case you don't know who Angela Davis is, she's a Marxist/feminist/communist, and she ran twice for vice president on the Communist Party ticket.
Check out the arrest and trial section of her wiki...

You're asking, but of course you know that they aren't looking at qualifications. She has a vagina and the correct skin color, and daddy was a radical back in the day.

Fight the power while being corrupt your own damn self, and all that...

the "law" seems to get in the way of "justice" at times

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news...ec24ba52acb27c&ei=54

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee said Friday text messages between Wade’s former divorce attorney Terrence Bradley and another defense lawyer couldn’t be admitted as evidence because Bradley spilled information that was covered under attorney-client privilege.

Ashleigh Merchant — representing Trump co-defendant Mike Roman who’s been spearheading the effort to oust Willis from the case — tried to bring her texts with Bradley into evidence as he testified Friday.

Potentially damning text messages about District Attorney Fani Willis’ affair with Nathan Wade won’t be considered by a judge when he rules whether to boot her from the Trump case. AP
“I sent you a statement saying [Wade and Willis] met while serving as magistrate judges and they started a relationship at that time, and you corrected me and said, ‘No, it was municipal court,'” Merchant asked Bradley while reading from their messages.

Willis became Chief Municipal Judge for South Fulton in Georgia in 2019, a position she gave up when she was elected as DA in 2021, placing the time frame Bradley was referring to in that period — well before the pair say they first became romantic in 2022.

When Willis’ relationship with Wade, whom she hired as special prosecutor in the election fraud case, began is key.

Wade, who is still in the process of divorcing his wife, and Willis have both maintained they did not start a relationship into 2022 and broke up a year later.

However, McAfee ultimately barred this message and others from being admitted as evidence, finding they were covered by attorney-client privilege from Bradley’s time working as Wade’s divorce attorney.

“He may have told you something, but there is no evidence the client ever waived or allowed him to convey that to you,” McAfee said to Merchant.

"Won't be considered." Sure, but the Judge heard the evidence anyway. He says he won't consider it. Maybe he will, maybe he won't, but on top of everything else, it would seem that this Judge actually has a fairly easy ruling to make here. The only uncertainty that I see is whether or not the Judge will dismiss the case with or without prejudice. But the fate of these two imbeciles seems clear.

I hope this judge is on the straight and narrow as I believe him to be from what I have seen so far.

From Victor Davis Hanson, one of the most concise explanations of the war of the left onto Donald Trump. Those "conservatives" who have TDS, or a little hesitant on supporting Trump, should watch this.
