They called into question Mr. Smith's appointment as special counsel, raising questions of "fairness and justice."

As pointed out by Ed Meese (more on the last page)... no authority to begin with:

Former Attorney General Ed Meese has presented arguments to the Supreme Court that they should reject Special Counsel Jack Smith’s requests because he was unconstitutionally appointed in the first place.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

The corrupt leftofascists can't even get their agenda past a left-dominated state supreme court

Michigan supreme court rules that Trump will stay on state ballot

Ex-president can participate in state primary despite accusations of insurrection stemming from the January 6 Capitol attack

Carter Sherman

Donald Trump will remain on Michigan’s state ballot after a ruling from the Michigan supreme court on Wednesday, which upheld a lower court order.

The move sets the stage for the former president to participate in the Michigan primary despite accusations that he led an insurrection against the United States.

The court’s decision not to move forward with a case against Trump sets the court in sharp contrast to the Colorado supreme court, which recently ruled to strip Trump from its state primary ballot because of his role in the January 6 riot at the US Capitol.

While I’m sure they would love to add their names to the list of idiots from Colorado, I’m not sure they want their careers to hinge on their personal beliefs, especially when the US Supreme Court will put an end to their fantasy

The Colorado secretary of state will include former President Donald Trump on the 2024 Colorado primary ballot after Republicans filed an appeal to the Supreme Court.

On Wednesday, the Colorado GOP filed an appeal with the U.S. Supreme Court after the state Supreme Court's decision to remove Trump from the primary ballot.

Following the appeal, Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold announced that she will include Trump on the primary ballot on the Jan. 5 certification deadline, unless the U.S. Supreme Court affirms the lower court's ruling or declines to take up the case.

"Donald Trump engaged in insurrection and was disqualified under the Constitution from the Colorado Ballot," Griswold said in a press release.

"The Colorado Supreme Court got it right. This decision is now being appealed," she continued. "I urge the U.S. Supreme Court to act quickly given the upcoming presidential primary election."

Trump's inclusion on the ballot creates an unprecedented situation for the U.S. Supreme Court amid two dueling rulings — the controversial Colorado ruling and the Michigan Supreme Court's ruling batting down an attempt to remove Trump from the primary ballot there.

The Colorado Supreme Court stayed its ruling until Jan. 4 to allow time for an appeal to its decision.

The two states' contradicting rulings will likely spur the U.S. Supreme Court to take up the case, which will set the legal precedent for the rest of the country.

The U.S. Supreme Court has a ticking political time bomb on its hands: The body will have to decide the case before Super Tuesday, March 5.

According to Griswold's press release, the deadline for 2024 primary ballots to be sent out to military voters is Jan. 20.

Additionally, Feb. 12 is the first day that ballots will be mailed out to voters, and at the end of the month, on Feb. 26, the first day of primary voting takes place.

It is unclear what would happen to any released ballots if the U.S. Supreme Court declines the appeal or doesn't take up the case after they are sent out.

Bunch of fucking clowns.

All of that, just for the pleasure of virtue-signalling their petty distaste for Donald Trump, and in the end, they came out looking like fools for backing down.

Wishywashy motherfhckers saying they’ll put him on the ballot but not if the USSC turns down the case or agrees that they were right. They know they’re full of shit and are gonna look like the idiots they are once this is all over, which is why Michigan decided against doing the same. One can hope the Colorado Supreme Court justices careers are over after this

Robert De Niro unleashes an ugly public rant about Trump

Robert De Niro wants everyone to know how much he hates Donald Trump.

Americans are so over it.

And Robert De Niro melted down over Donald Trump, and you’ll never see him the same again.

Robert De Niro earned his status as a Hollywood icon through his starring roles in classic films like “The Godfather Part 2,” “Taxi Driver,” “Raging Bull,” and “Goodfellas.”

De Niro is also a well-known sufferer of an acute case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

And De Niro’s Hollywood career and Trump hatred came into conflict when De Niro was presenting an award to the Martin Scorsese film “Killers of the Flower Moon” which De Niro starred in along with Leonardo DiCaprio.

During his speech where he presented the Gotham Historical Icon and Creator Tribute award at the Gotham Independent Film Awards, De Niro noticed on the teleprompter that the ceremony organizers edited out a political rant from his speech.

De Niro notified the crowd about what happened and took his phone out of his pocket to read off his anti-Trump screed.

“I just want to say one thing. The beginning of my speech was edited, cut out, I didn’t know about it. And I want to read it,” De Niro declared.

De Niro’s first target was a law in Florida that took all the woke ideology about critical race and queer theory out of the Advanced Placement Black History course and instead taught actual black history in America.

“History isn’t history anymore,” De Niro exclaimed. “Truth is not truth. Even facts are being replaced by alternative facts and driven by conspiracy theories and ugliness.”

De Niro then zeroed in on Trump with a tired rant about how Trump is a liar, divisive and mean.

“Lying has become just another tool in the charlatan’s arsenal,” De Niro added. “The former president lied to us more than 30,000 times during his four years in office, and he’s keeping up the pace in his current campaign of retribution,” De Niro continued. “But with all his lies, he can’t hide his soul.”

As “evidence,” De Niro – who claimed he valued honesty in a political leader – complained that Trump mocked Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren for lying about being a Native American by tagging her with the Pocahontas nickname.

“He attacks the weak, destroys the gifts of nature, and shows disrespect, for example, by using Pocahontas as a slur,” De Niro declared.

De Niro wrapped up his speech by saying he would have liked to thank Apple for producing the film and Gotham for staging the ceremony, but because they didn’t want to turn the event into a political rally De Niro left the stage in a huff.

“So I’m going to say these things, but to Apple and thank them and all that, Gotham, blah blah blah, Apple, but, who — I don’t feel like thanking them at all, for what they did. How dare they do that, actually,” De Niro whined.

What am I missing? Either the reporter/writer screwed up the language, or just more proof Griswold is a moron. As written, Trump is back on only if SC takes the case and overturns.
