I think this is quite telling. Many forums are these days owned by media companies, and the actual owners are nowhere to be found in those places, so, people seem to be conditioned to ask if you're a cop on the beat. Ownership never even enters their mind as a possibility. Quite telling, don't you think? Especially since the current crop of owners of these places formerly owned by individuals who cared about their venue, are people who don't give the first shit about these places, except for they profit they may realize from them.
If you want to know what makes this forum different, there's your answer.
