chellim1The Trump Presidency : Year IV
quote:
Has anyone put forth a definitive definition of "swamp"? The real swamp is not the RINOS, although they are a part of it. The real swamp is the huge number of federal agencies overflowing with career bureaucrats who are accountable to no one. And the great majority of these pencil pushers are dems.
They are experienced in tying the hands of political appointees especially when a republican is in the WH, even and especially Trump. That's why draining the swamp sounds good and a nice campaign slogan, but it's an empty phrase. Just try getting rid of a career bureaucrat.
Dr. Fauci fits your definition. He's the highest paid government employee... making more money than the President or anyone else.
Peter Barry Chowka explains the real story of Dr. Fauci
https://www.americanthinker.co...ory_of_dr_fauci.html
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
-- Justice Janice Rogers Brown
"The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth."

I started wearing a mask
when and where it seemed to make sense back at the end of Feb., 2020--about the same time I began a more rigorous decontamination regimen. Back then they were saying "It's not airborne, so don't wear a mask." Then it was "Airborne is the primary infection mode. Wear a mask." Now we've got people wearing masks out-of-doors
when there is nobody else around and suggestions of wearing two masks.
And here I am, still wearing
a mask
when and where it seems to make sense.
As for Dr. Falsi: I no longer pay him any heed. Haven't for months and months. Probably never should have in the first place.

Ripley Smear Job Complete: CNN Poll Claims Melania Most Unpopular First Lady EVERAccording to a CNN survey, Melania Trump has been labeled the least popular first lady in modern American history.
Of course, we all know this is not true and has more to do with how the media smeared and insulted her for four years.
The CNN poll found that only 42% of people polled found favor with the First Lady at the end of her tenure.
Not only was that the lowest approval rating of her time under the title, but according to the outlet, it was the lowest rating among First ladies in the history of the poll...

recoatliftThe elites were jealous of the First Lady from day one. Their ass wipe opinion means zip to me. The lady speaks 5 languages and carries herself like royalty without even tying. She is # 1.

Ripley The Death of Civic NationalismAn important if not comforting read, faith in a system that works against you --
FTA --
Today, the term “civic nationalism” is a way to distinguish the old-school conservatives from the new Dissident Right that has risen up over the past decade or so. The civic nationalist is convinced he can find some way within the rules of the system to unriddle the puzzle of progressive control of the institutions. After every defeat, he commits himself to vote harder and wish harder. He never loses faith in the system. **snip** What we are witnessing is the death of civic nationalism. While individual liberty, equality before the law, and individual rights are laudable concepts, they are no longer a part of the people’s reality. In fact, there is growing suspicion that civic nationalism was always a lie. It was a way to keep middle-class whites from seeing who was subverting their society and corrupting their culture...

Although I disagree with them, I really don't care. The spouse of the President is not who governs the country and the admiration of such is of little concern to me. I think Melania Trump is a fine lady, but I thought the same of several First Ladies over time (not the prior one, of course, but others). Again, a popularity contest among First Spouses is not of interest to me.

My goodness. Can't people simply laugh at a joke?
Sure, when the joke is funny.
That was actually very funny. Maybe you didn’t see the movie.
It was funny. He/she/it has had it out for him this entire thread.

I laughed, Balze Halze. It was funny. And Office Space is one of my all-time favorite comedies.
I never saw Office Space and I laughed. I’m sorry, but the idea of showing those leftist turds exactly as much respect as they deserve *is* funny. Even if one would never do such a thing, the thought is funny.

StramboI don't think he should have any defense or any lawyers at all. Just ignore their un-Constitutional, political kangaroo court show trial that isn't going anywhere while he goes on with his life as a private citizen. The more conservative R's in the Senate will get his talking points out there anyway.

wcb6092House GOP votes decisively to keep Rep. Liz Cheney as House GOP Conference Chair
https://justthenews.com/govern..._campaign=newsletterRep. Liz Cheney will retain her post as House Republican Conference Chair after coming under fire for voting to impeach President Trump during his waning days in office last month.
Reports indicate that Cheney's win was decisive, with 145 House Republicans voting for her to remain in the role, 61 voting to remove her from the position and 1 voting present.
Cheney was one of 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump. A Senate trial on that impeachment is slated to begin next week.

nasigsecret vote. freaking cowards
February 03, 2021, 10:22 PM
kimber1911We all know how well secret voting works.
I voted, but do to secrecy I don’t know if my vote was adjudicated from Trump to Biden or not.
Secretly those 61 should be Primaried out along with the other 146.
We have no way of knowing who the 61 good guys are so let’s be safe and get rid of them all.

This pig surviving, and doing so overwhelmingly, is sickening. That vote needs to be made public. Those that voted for her need to be held accountable.
