Lin Wood got a lot of praise over the Covington vs CNN lawsuit and has been reported to be one of the top attorneys in the country, but he sure seems like a crackpot to me. But then part of me thinks he has to be real careful what he says or he'll find himself on the losing end of a major lawsuit.

Georgia Senate Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff has a few words for anyone wondering about where he got all of his money and the finances of his film production company. That’s none of your business. This beacon of transparency who would like to replace Republican David Perdue in the upper chamber has faced questions recently about payments made to Insight TWI, his movie company, from Asian interests with ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
After initially fessing up to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution about one payment that somehow failed to show up on his initial campaign finance filing, reporters sought more information. But Ossoff has apparently tired of discussing the subject, telling the Washington Post this week that Insight TWI’s finances are “confidential.”
Even after a number of controversial payments to Jon Ossoff’s foreign film company surfaced in September—including one from a Chinese-backed media giant—the Georgia Democrat refused to release additional financial documents from the company.
In a recent interview with the Washington Post, Ossoff declined the outlet’s request to “release further financial information” relating to his company, noting that “the particulars of our annual finances are confidential.” The refusal comes months after Ossoff quietly disclosed receiving at least $5,000 from PCCW, a Hong Kong-based media corporation owned in part by the Chinese Communist Party.
Ossoff’s withholding of financial information could undermine his ability to fend off attacks from his Republican opponent. Senator David Perdue has criticized Ossoff for accepting funds from a “communist Chinese news agency” and called on him to explain “where his money comes from” in an October debate.

Utah2 State election officials certified Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R) won the Second Congressional District race by six votes on November 30
Rita Hart (D) announced Tuesday morning she is planning to contest the results of the race for Iowa’s Second Congressional District.
Iowa Democrat Rita Hart was on the payroll of two Chinese companies while running to represent the state’s 2nd District in the U.S. House of Representatives, a financial disclosure shows.
Hart received $3,180 from Confucius International Education Group and $2,135 from Pangaea International Academy, both of which have ties to the Chinese Communist Party. The payments were discovered by Accuracy in Media when it was investigating a Federal Election Commission complaint against Hart.
Confucius International Education Group (CIEG), based in Qingdao, China, is funded by Chinese state-run leasing company Far East Horizon, which has ties to the Youth Communist League.
CIEG created a private academy in Iowa that took in foreign-exchange students after their one-year programs at a local school ended so that they could remain in the U.S. without having to pay tuition.
The exchange program’s goal is to turn the academy on Confucius International Education Group’s campus, Pangaea International Academy, into a degree-granting school. Hart supported Pangaea International Academy when she was a State Senator.
Neither Hart nor House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., immediately responded to Fox News’ request for comment. Fox News’ call to Pangaea International Academy went unreturned and attempts to reach Confucius International Education Group were unsuccessful.
Hart on Tuesday contested the certification of her election with the House of Representatives after dropping her challenge through the legal system, admitting she couldn’t "get the results" needed to overturn the outcome. Hart says her six-vote loss to Republican Mariannette Miller-Meeks would have been a nine-vote win if 22 excluded lawful ballots were counted.
Tuesday’s filing means the election result is reviewed by a three-person committee which will then make a recommendation to the full House Administration Committee. The committee would then deliver a report to the full House where a simple majority vote would decide the outcome .

So she doesn't like it that a republican won (ballots counted twice?) by 6, but she's ok with winning by 9 if 22 'excluded' ballots are given to her or decided by the house simple majority. What a piece of work.
