Pretty fly on a white guy.

That alone ought to sway the undecideds!
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

SIG4EVAFantastic showing by Pence. He has a lot more patience for stupidity than I do. I'm still waiting for an answer from Harris. Well done and a perfect balance to Trump.

chellim1Vice President Mike Pence suggested that Democrats will not accept the outcome of the 2020 election because they have spent the past three and a half years attempting to negate the results of 2016.
So his next term will count as his first term....Giving trump eight more years!

That is the very reason I had to turn off the TV after only about 15 minutes of the debate.

You lasted a LOT longer than I did; I could only take 15 seconds of the whiny little bitch.

Second Trump-Biden debate will be virtual, organizers say Announcement comes nearly a week after Trump announced he tested positive for coronavirus
Brooke Singman By Brooke Singman | Fox News
The second debate between President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden will be virtual, with both candidates appearing from separate remote locations, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced Thursday -- nearly a week after Trump announced he'd tested positive for the coronavirus.
The debate, scheduled for Oct. 15, "will take the form of a town meeting," organizers said.

chellim1In a Fox Business interview Thursday, the president said he would not take part in a virtual debate.
"The commission changed the debate style and that's not acceptable to us," Trump said on "Mornings with Maria." "I beat him in the first debate, I beat him easily."
The president added that he expected to "beat him in the second debate also."
"I'm not going to do a virtual debate," Trump went on. "I’m not going to waste my time at a virtual debate."
The president said he wasn't going to "sit at a computer" to debate, calling it "ridiculous."
"They're trying to protect Biden," Trump said. "Everybody is."
Moments later, Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien said the CPD was rushing to Biden's "defense by unilaterally canceling an in-person debate," calling it "pathetic."
"That’s not what debates are about or how they’re done," Stepien said. "Here are the facts: President Trump will have posted multiple negative tests prior to the debate, so there is no need for this unilateral declaration. The safety of all involved can easily be achieved without canceling a chance for voters to see both candidates go head to head."
He added: "We’ll pass on this sad excuse to bail out Joe Biden and do a rally instead.”

frayedendsGood choice for Trump. They just want to give Joe a teleprompter and cut Trump off for Joe’s talking points. No thanks.
These go to eleven.

parabellumSuch a format would allow the "moderator"

to shut off President Trump's audio at will. They could stop him, not only from speaking, but from hearing as well, if they so chose. I agree completely that President Trump should refuse to participate under these conditions. I agree completely that this is being done to protect Biden. I think everyone knows this, whether or not they are honest enough to admit it.
I'm sick of these assholes. November can't get here fast enough for me.

President Trump should hold a rally in Biden's hometown on that night. Or set up a rally at the end of Biden's street.

az4783054We turned the debate off. We tried watching by muting the harris remarks and just listening to VP Pence. It was obviously a biased sham again. VP Pence was calm and reassuring, almost to nice. I liked his habit of continuing his thoughts when the 'moderator' tried to stop him.
The two minutes was not enough time to answer the loaded questions. I'm not convinced that harris didn't have the questions ahead of the debate.
Nasty harris did a good impression of pelosi with her hands flailing in the air. Her smirks and head shaking were so annoying.
October 08, 2020, 10:22 AM
pedropcolaTo add to the above thought that Harris had the questions in advance. Did you notice when Kamala said that his response was a nice segue to the next question? At our house we immediately jumped up and said, “how would she know that”?
She clearly had foreknowledge or that comment made no sense. The moderator tried to minimize her gaffe by repeating the line, yes it’s a great segue.

HayesGreenerI put Harris in the same league as Peter Strozk for arrogance and disrespectful expressions. I just want to reach into the TV and smack them.
I have also noticed over the years that VP Pence does not allow himself to be cut off by reporters in mid thought. It is a technique used to clip the sound bite they want and he knows how it works.
