The Trump Presidency : Year IV

For Democrats, "politics" is a complicated game of good lies and bad lies. A good lie is one that succeeds in making people believe it. And a bad lie is the opposite. The status of Democrat politicians is determined by who tells the best lies.

That's an interesting way of putting it...
Bill Clinton and Barack Obama were, no doubt, talented liars. They made it believable to many, many people. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, not so much.

I'll grant you there are better liars than others. But there are no "good" lies... only lies and truth.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Trump Orders Inauguration Moved Indoors Due To 'Dangerous Conditions'

President-elect Donald Trump has ordered Monday's inauguration to be moved indoors.

Of course, it may be the weather, or it may be something else. As Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene opined on X, "I have personally attended countless rallies where President Trump spoke in extreme weather conditions from cold to rain to heat," adding "Is there a security threat other than extreme cold temperatures?"

Yes he is! Seems totally unflappable by the left-tard attacks so far. Seems like an AWESOME pick by Trump, and somebody I'd actually like to meet in person!!!

Politics for Trump is a means to get shit done for this country to benefit as many Americans as possible.

Politics for Democrats is only for retaining and hanging on to power, nothing else matters, even the vast majority of Americans.

Trump's inauguration has been moved indoors into the Capitol Rotunda due to freezing temperatures.

OK... then I'll let you explain what a good lie is. Not a good liar, a good lie.
Because if you're talking about talented liars, I completely got the point.

They use far more than lying to grab and hold power.

No doubt they use bribery, blackmail, kickbacks, and so on. But how do they live "politics" on the public stage, as opposed to how Trump lives "politics" on the public stage? He leads. They lie.

We need to stop it with the conspiracy, already. Goddamn MTG, she is a nut, here. No doubt about it. How did this shit start? Fucking Alex Jones. Roll Eyes

I guess they also were trying to do something to Reagan in his 1985 Inauguration, and that's why they moved it indoors. Roll Eyes

It's going to be very cold. Add wind gust to that. Occam's razor, gentlemen. Listen to what President Trump said. Folks were going to be standing outside for hours, long before Trump gets there. So, he didn't want them to get injured.

I was told I’d need to be there at the Mall by 8 am for an 11 am ceremony start

That’s a long time to be standing in 25 degree weather with 10 degree wind chills and 30 mph wind gusts.

Last week they were saying 38 to 40 degrees but I guess this polar vortex changed to everything
