I think somewhere back on this thread, or maybe the Paul Pelosi thread someone posted a video of her apparently sloshed conducting the business of We The People (allegedly) when she was Speaker. Fair sized glass on the podium with her.

I bet a lot of degenerate celebrities are quaking in their boots today.  The deal they made to endorse Kamala in exchange for no prosecution in P Diddy case just died.  Hoping the Epstein no prosecution deal died last night too.

If you're looking for a docu-series on President Trump's campaign, there's a documentary that's free to watch on X. I highly recommend it.

So far there are 6 episodes right and I'm hoping they're working on 7th: Election Day episode.

Two things come to mind:

Listening to Letitia James, it sounds like she is going to try and start her sanctuary city crap all over again. Worried about Federal money being cut, etc. Get ready for the tidal wave of sanctuary seekers who are going to be fleeing law abiding states. I bet New Yorkers will run her out of town without Trump having to do a thing.

Nancy looks like she knows she is going to have the SEC knocking on her door real soon. No House,Senate or DOJ to protect her now.

These are glorious times.

Never before in the history of this country, has a portion of the population been filled with so much fear and anger due to constant gaslighting by outright lies and falsehoods.

Man there are a lot of insanely angry people out there. Sure, perhaps fun to watch but as we've already seen a lot of these people are totally unhinged and dangerous.

If he is interested, I would like to see Admiral (Ret.) Mike Rogers offered a position in PDJT’s administration.

As the NSA Director at the time, he is the one that warned PDJT that he was being spied on by us.fed.gov in Trump Tower, at which point PDJT moved his operation to his golf resort in Bedminster, NJ.

Pretty sure it is not the case.

It isn't. You can "lose" your military pension, but in most cases it's voluntary or you owe money (alimony, for example). You CAN temporarily lose your pension if incarcerated, but assuming it's not something heinous, it can be reinstated once you're released.

And no, you are not subject to the UCMJ if you retired "normally".

I stand corrected...but as was mentioned, it's tricky.

Interesting read, especially the differences between the branches.

In certain cases, it is possible. I believe if you retired from the reserves, it doesn't apply. If you retired from active duty, you can be recalled and prosecuted but it's muddy at best.

To get a quick and valid answer to the question, and not just an uninformed Internet guess, I recommend searching for “are military retirees subject to the ucmj,” and the answer is yes, we are. I first learned that some 50 years ago and it’s confirmed by many responses to the question. And it evidently applies to retired reservists once they start drawing a pension.

But don’t take my word for it if truly interested. I found at least one citation of a specific individual who had been retired for 10 years before being recalled, tried, and convicted by a court martial.

Although highly unlikely, that means a retiree could be charged under the UCMJ for saying disrespectful things about the current President.

The Babylon Bee Decision Desk just called Alabama for Trump!

And in other news:

Democrats Call For Abolishing Popular Vote

WASHINGTON D.C. - In the wake of their crushing defeat in the 2024 presidential election, Democrats have begun to call for abolishing the popular vote.

"Look, it's 2024 and I think it's time to let go of this antiquated and undemocratic idea of a ‘popular vote,'" said U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. "Our democracy is simply too fragile to just award the Presidency to whoever wins the most votes. We must come up with an alternative, like maybe a college of electors."

Democrats warned that the counting up the number of votes to see who received more was textbook fascism. "Democracy cannot survive in a system where you add up votes, because people could vote for fascists. Voting is how democracy dies," explained Democratic Senator Adam Schiff. "Voting is how we got Trump, and now our country is dead, again. It's time to protect democracy by eliminating voting altogether."

At publishing time, Democrats proposed that future Presidential elections should instead be decided by a 38-year-old barista named Tina, who lives in the suburbs of Chicago.
