Originally posted by Fly-Sig: Possible, but a big reason to put out polling showing your candidate is doing well is to bring out the voters.
And yet, some people won’t go to the inconvenience of voting (especially if early and other alternative means are prohibited) if they believe their candidate is a shoo-in. Others will be discouraged and stay away if they believe their candidate can’t win. If someone doesn’t vote (or does vote) simply because of pundits or published polls or is “undecided” days before an election, he is mentally defective and should be prohibited from voting at all.
“Undecided” is not the same as the reasonable possibility of changing one’s mind at the last minute. If I hadn’t voted already, is it in the realm of possibility that something could happen to keep me from voting for DJT? Certainly, but then neither major candidate would get my vote. Days ago, though, I was firmly “decided,” as I had been literally for years, and that’s how I voted then.

This was today at the Navy UDT/SEAL museum for the annual muster and reunion. After the speakers, retired SEALs put on a demonstration. As part of the demo today, one of the team was injured, shot in the leg. The PJ tended to him and called for a medivac. As the "wounded" was being loaded into the little bird, he turned to the audience, pumped his fist and shouted over the roar of the aircraft, "FIGHT,FIGHT,FIGHT". The audience went wild. Wonder who's side they are on.

Problems in Georgia already. I am glad it is being brought out in the open early and hopefully can be resolved. If you live in Georgia, contact your representatives and put some heat on these issues.
"There Are NO WATCHERS": RNC Sues Georgia Counties Over "Last Minute" Decision To Accept Weekend Ballots, Block GOP Observers
The Republican National Committee (RNC) is suing several counties in Georgia, citing a simultaneous decision to accept ballots over the weekend - then block Republican poll watchers in defiance of guidance issued by the Secretary of State.
"Fulton, Cobb, DeKalb, and Gwinnett counties decided at the last minute to accept ballots over the weekend — which disregards the law," wrote RNC Chairman Michael Whatley on X.

Georgia GOP Says Fulton County is Violating State Ballot Drop Box Law.
The Georgia Republican Party is alleging Fulton County election officials are keeping certain voter centers open in predominantly Democratic-heavy areas over the weekend to accept absentee ballots in what they say violates Georgia law. In a statement issued late Friday night, the Georgia GOP announced they have filed a lawsuit against Fulton County for violating state election law, which restricts the use of ballot drop boxes after the early voting period ends.
“It has come to our attention that Fulton County election officials are planning to open four election offices this weekend “to accommodate voters seeking to hand-return their absentee ballots,” the Georgia GOP says, continuing: “This is a blatant violation of Georgia law, subsection (d) of Code Section 21-5-385. O.C.G.A § 21-2-382 which states ‘all drop boxes shall be closed when the advance voting period ends.’ This must be stopped immediately and those willfully breaking Georgia law should be held accountable.”

My pre-election gift for all of you who are influenced by polling data- the final word from the most reliable source- Rasmussen Reports, and it's not just polling data, either. Early voting figures indicate that Dems are just not showing up to vote in the numbers they need, and why should they? The have, quite literally, the absolute worst, stupidest, most unqualified candidate in the history of US presidential elections.

And Mark Mitchell, the chief polling person at Rasmussen, one of the nations top polling experts was interviewed a a couple of weeks back on Newsmax and he had an air of confidence in Trump's performance, stating that not only was Trunp leading in ALL of the swing states, but was doing better than expected in tight races in blue states such as New Hampshire, Virginia, and even New Mexico, which hosted a Trump rally last Friday. Trump, like Reagan in 1980, could very well pickup some blue states to further his electoral count. And I truly believe that in this election cycle, Democrats are staying home. IMO, Biden would have been a slightly better candidate in getting the vote out. The Democrats really fucked themselves on this one.
"I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965
I thoroughly enjoyed Mark Mitchell's report above. It's astonishing that his polls--over 12,000 respondents--point to an historic shift to the GOP candidate among blacks and hispanics. If Trump wins not just the Electoral College but the popular vote, it will greatly decrease the risk of a violent reaction. As he says, Trump voters still need to get to the polls on Election Day.
The best part will be the predictable recriminations among the Dems. They will have to push back against the Left that's been running things since Obama.

Even more so I'm hoping this horribly doomed campaign has exposed him enough that he fails to win the governorship next time around. He needs to be erased from politics altogether. He will be a complete failure in the private sector. Let him go live in his beloved China.
