You mean, as in bypass the home printer paper stack, by single-sheet feeding a 8.5x11 peel-n-stick sheet ? Is that the general idea ?

V-Tail is right. We used to buy packages of 8-1/2" x 11" sets of stickers, the number per page varying with the size of the sticker.

The last time we bought any was when my GF was trying to get an internet business going years ago, she said she got them at a stationery store. Try your local WalMart if there is no stationery store nearby.

In case you haven't thought of this, Microsoft Word has a section for printing labels, I suspect if you're using another program that it would have the same feature.

Yup. I buy Avery, and for shipping label purpose, 2 stickers per page is best, each the size of the small USPS Priority box. That's the size just about everyone uses.

I've been using Pirateship for years.

As for labels, since I ship/mail in different sized padded envelopes and boxes, I prefer printing correctly sized plain paper labels and then affixing them with good quality 3M packing tape.

I used to ship a lot.

UPS and FedEx will give you free shipping supplies.

I would print using regular paper and use their free stick-on clear label holders to attach to the packages.

Yes. I use Brother laser printers. I open the exit door thingy in the back of the printer, so there is a straight-through path for the label sheet.

Whether you use Avery, or another brand, you can still use Avery's label printing software. It's a free download.

USPS will too,

UPS will give you the blank sheets to use (8.5x11) or the 4x6 ones for a lable printer
