Did anyone go to the show today? How crowded was it?

I am thinking of going up tomorrow, but it is about a 2 hour drive. I don't mind making the drive, but I don't want to go if I have to wait in line for an hour and then be packed in like sardines.

If it's like that, I won't even get out of the truck.

Thanks

Here's a thread on Ingo. Sounds like a waste of time.

Wasn't sure what I was going to do today. The Indy 1500 was going on, and the Vevay Wine Festival was going on too. Ended up staying home and working on some house jobs

I went today around noon. No line to get in, busy but not crowded. Managed to find some P320 17 round mags that were made in Italy and not the USA made Checkmate junk most dealers have now.

Typical single room summer show in the west expo center. Prices were what I consider to be normal for the most part, which is actually 5-10% higher than "normal" for the Indy west suburbs where 10% over dealer cost is the going rate, thanks to Bob Cheek in Plainfield.

I saw a CZ Tactical Sports 2 Blue for $1559, and a new HK SL8 (ugh!) for $1600 and change. ACME Sports had a CZ Bren 2 5.56 8" for around $2K. Otherwise the usual mix of stuff. I did see someone trying to sell an HK SP5K (older one with the flush non threaded barrel) for $5999, so that was high. Also saw a registered Ruger Mini 5.56 MG for $14,000 + 200 tax stamp. Too bad it wasn't the A-Team approved stainless version.
