We delivered The Advocate in lower Livingston Parish for years. It was had to make the people at the company in BR that it would flood down there without rain. That southeast wind is a bitch.

Given a choice of messing up some recreation and sea life or saving people, cities and farmland....hmmm....maybe that's why those spillways got built?
