The original plan was to lay my long guns on this for cleaning, but after receiving it figured it was too nice to contaminate with cleaning fluids. Then after figuring out it was for a gun sales counter (duh), and I didn't own a gun shop, it laid in my office untouched for 20 years waiting for a purpose. However at that time it wasn't advertised as a "gun counter" pad, hence my belated brain fart.

The soft side is clean as a whistle, but the outside has a little cat hair and dust on it, but otherwise zero wear. A lint roller or damp terrycloth should do the trick, since my cat never laid a paw on it.

It's so well made I can't throw it out, so it's yours if you want it. I'll pick a winner on January 8th and ship it free, as long as you live in the lower 48 so as to avoid excessive shipping for an otherwise inexpensive item.

I was going to use a Karmanator but noticed they seemed too much of a black box to me from a security standpoint, so I'll use the following formula instead:

Mod(hex_to_decimal(md5sum(Sigforum_username)),0.25), with the highest score being the winner.

But since most of you guys could do the calculation and would calculate the result with your username, and then reject the drawing for lack of calculable enthusiasm, I'll just write them down on slips of paper and draw from a cereal bowl.
