I’ve spent only a little bit of time with the .308, but one particular afternoon (with some coaching) I was ringing steel at 500 yards.

It was definitely a happy day! Smile

I didn’t even think of that. Was shooting with a friend who usually shoots more long range specific calibers and he was shooting 308 today. DOH!

First gun I ever bought: Winchester Model 88 in .308! Bought in 1965 & still have it!!!
