Just wondering if you can turn me on to a particular vendor to buy the film and activator from? Maybe a few pointers? YT vides make it seem pretty straight forward. Thanks to all.

I've done a few things. Actually I've done two things I cared about and many things practicing for those things.

I was going to say I don't recall where I got my film or activator. But I remembered "Dip Wizard" because there's one of their stickers kicking around somewhere. Don't recall what exactly I bought from them. I think first I bought a "sample pack" of film from someone to learn with (which is why if you ever see my Single Stack rig, every mag pouch and my holster are a different color/pattern).

I then did a shotgun mag tube which turned out pretty good. A couple years later I did an AR upper/lower which turned out... good enough I guess. Just okay. (and gaudy lol)

My only advice would be, watch lots of youtube. Then practice. Buy some sample materials and just dip stuff to get the hang of it. Half what dipped at first was just junk, old spray paint can caps, old plastic bullet boxes. Then all my math pouches.
