bendableWatch band length , anyone else require bigger than o.e.m. ?
I found three watches , ( under $45.00 )
and all three watch bands were an inch and
a half too
short.
I am a fat guy around the waist,
But I am wondering if there is
a way around this problem.
My wrists are height proportionate.
.
I used to palm a b-ball, but not anymore.
I found longer watch bands on line but I am not
paying $24.00 for a watch and another $24.00 for
An after market band.

egregore^^^ Take a soft tape measure, of the kind a tailor would use, for this measurement, and go from there.
Tailor's measuring tapeI'm the opposite - the last watch I owned needed ~6 links
taken out.

1s1kThat’s why I can rarely ever use a rubber, leather or silicone band. If a buy a watch it’s almost always going to have a metal band and I always buy extra links at the same time.
What type of watch are you looking at and what is your wrist size. I might have something that will work for you.

bendableThe watches were at Wal Mart.
I I think that two were casios and another was iron something.
I will look into the cloth tape measure thing .
I am sure Bonnie has a dozen of them.

Johnny 3eaglesEffie Calavaza, a Zuni jewelry designer came to Benson Arizona to personally deliver a men's Cuff Bracelet she made for him. She wanted to meet the man that needed a Bracelet that large. Was that you bendable?

These Casio Illuminator watches sold at Walmart come with extra long watch bands installed. It's what I wear on duty because they have a large face and illumination, are decently rugged, and if they get torn up they're only $30 to replace.
I'm towards the upper edge of the normal range for watch bands, and these have several inches of extra length left on me.
Should be plenty big enough for you.
They come in black or OD green:

captain127I typically have the opposite problem, bands too big. On metal bands, I often have to take multiple links out, and iam not a small guy.
With leather or rubber, I am usually using the last or second to last hole

Glynn863A few years ago, I bought a Citizen watch that had a too small strap. A little online searching, and I ended up with a NATO-type nylon strap from BluShark. It has held up really well and fits great.
Good luck.

kz1000My big fat wrist is 9 inches. I have to have some straps custom made, like this one.
